We have an 80-acre Organic Medjool Date farm located at the base of the Gila Mountains in Wellton, AZ. We are a bit off the beaten path but once you get here it's so worth the drive. The star gazing is amazing and if you like off-roading there are trails everywhere out here!
We have an onsite Brewery and restaurant, open seasonally to guests and to the public. High Tanks Brewing Co is open November-April, Thu-Sun. Throughout this season we offer many fun things to do such as farm tours, live music, cornhole tournaments, yoga, farm-to-table style dinners, and much more. That's pretty awesome if you ask us. Picacho truly calls to all hardy adventurers. It was a gold mining town with 100 citizens more than a century ago.
This park offers rugged desert mountains, colorful canyons, and the Colorado River. Keep an eye out for beavertail cactus, wild burros, the famous bighorn sheep and thousands of migratory birds. Hike through the mountains to see great views from above. Dip your line in the Colorado River to catch your dinner.

I am the 2nd lot in from the open desert! Its an open lot with hook ups for an RV, 5th wheel, camper. (The Google photo provided by Hipcamp is not accurate: there is no home on the lot). Hiking up to Telegraph Pass is 2 minutes! ATV trails are 50' from the property. We are in a 55+ area but short term families are welcome. The Colorado River and Martinez and Mittry Lakes are nearby for boating, fishing, and tubing. Lots of activities in downtown Yuma. Enjoy the beautiful winter weather and the gorgeous sunsets from a private lot.

I spent 6 months in Yuma for work and booked so many times here! The place is very well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. There is a great view of the mountains and a footpath that cuts through the neighborhood. I used this daily to walk my dog as it runs on the side of this awesome little four spot RV park. Full hookups plus laundry for an affordable price is hard to beat. Hosts are awesome and responsive. 10/10!

What a great spot! Not only the atmosphere of the place (camping under palm trees) but the folks working here. Kind warm hearted people who we shared delicious homemade brew with - you must try Daphne’s Date Ale. In the height of the season you can catch live music outside by the brewery.

This is my 2nd time this year for overnight stay at the Naked Date Farms wonderful glamcamp. Great set up with everything you could possibly want...very comfortable queen sized bed , 4 chairs, a heater for early mornings and clean bathroom with showering. It's a perfect getaway! Easy parking right next to my tent. Propane outside fire. Love it and will definitely return next season !

Weekend Trip to Brewery on an Organic Date Farm
A little piece of agritourismo in the Arizona desert. The tent is spacious and manages to cut the temperature by almost 10 degrees, so camping in late spring is still manageable. You are far enough from any major population area that the stars look nice and crisp.
The brewery on site has fantastic beer, and even better date-based desserts. Seriously, get one of the cookies. The food food is fine, probably better than trying to do your own cooking.
The last leg of your trip will involve a dirt road, but it's very well maintained. A carolla should handle it fine.
If I have one big complaint it's that a mysterious generator went off every 10 or so minutes, working against the goal of escaping the noise of Phoenix.

This location is far enough from downtown to be nice & quiet. Close enough to have easy access to anything one might need.
Parking and hooking up were made easy by Doug helping me.
Laura & her husband Doug (and tgeir lively, well-behaved dogs) have become new friends.
I feel lucky to have found them through HipCamp.

We stayed at Yuma’s Own Little Campland for a week on our annual trip south to visit friends.
I found the spot while searching facilities in Yuma that could accommodate our needs, largely a place to land at night to sleep as the rest of the time we were seeing the sights with our many "snowbird" friends there.
Campland filled that need perfectly at a very fair price. It was clean and well maintained. The included access to a washing machine was a nice bonus! Keith and Shirley could not have been nicer to work with and their seasonal residents spoke very highly of them.
We appreciate the stay folks, and will be sure to look you up should we come down again next year!

I reserved a spot at the farm and had no idea what to expect. Camping among the date trees was a great experience. The shade from the trees was a great relief from the 90 degree heat. The site was unique with great views of the surrounding mountains. Bathrooms with running water, showers and laundry facilities was the added bonus.

Weekend Trip to Brewery on an Organic Date Farm
We have been to the farm (and pizza restaurant in town) several times but this was our first time glamping. Our group rented three tents and they were very comfortable for a night; toilets and showers brightly lit and clean. During the day, we enjoyed live music and good food/drinks with a larger group of friends. Friendly staff! Nice firepits at campsites.
A fun stop if you're passing through or want a quick get away from town to see the night sky.
Breakfast is not offered but Ligurta Station has comfort food just down the road.
If you have questions, I found it best to call the brewery directly during office hours; I wasn't able to get a response via Hipcamp contact form or the number listed for Misty. Maybe these just need to be updated?
