Sites 1-3 have their own personal space with seating area, small fire-pit ring and two chairs. Communal spaces with restroom, grill, table, other seating with larger fire-pit. Feel free to visit our horses, chickens or hike our beautiful trails right from the property.
Enjoy the horses, the stars at night and our neighboring coyotes sing if you are lucky.
Our home is close by, the little white farmhouse on the hill.

My 2.2-acre private horse ranch has mountain views in all directions, a large private campsite, and 8 rescue horses, 2 donkeys, and 4 pigs to meet and greet on the property. Please note we are located in a neighborhood so please respect the neighbors. There are hiking/horseback riding trails right off of my property that take you to the Spur Cross Conservation Area, or you can head 10 minutes north to the trailhead. The Black Mountain Hiking Trail is also awesome, you can see the whole valley from the top! Or, you can even ride your horses to the cowboy bars in town!
Note: I have 2 spots available: 1 Campsite; 1 Glamping Trailer. I will try to block off campsites that are not in use after your booking in order to keep the site as private as possible.
Wanting some adventure? Lake Pleasant, Bartlett Lake, Tonto National Forest, Seven Springs, and more are all just a easy drive from the ranch. Need to stock up on supplies? Walmart, Lowes, Home Depot, Tractor Supply and more are just a 10-minute drive. Want to explore a unique cowboy town? Cave Creek is an Old West-style town where it’s just as common to see horseback riders trotting along Main Street as it is to see a motorcycle cruising by. There is a variety of shops, restaurants, and great drinks. It's easy to find something you'll love!
Please note that landscape varies depending on time of year and rain. There will be no green grass in the summertime.

Guardian Ridge Ranch is a 4 acre ridge top garden retreat I began creating 25 years ago. Our acreage was at the end of a dirt rd then — and it still is today! Flo is on the front acre of our property with our straw bale home on the back acreage. The views are breathtaking with the Sedona Red Rocks to the North and the Montezuma Castle National Monument canyon to the South. Flo is a fully self-contained, refurbished 1950 Spartan Mansion Silver Bullet. Her charm includes an original turquoise shower/bathroom, full bed, a sweet kitchen and quaint living area. All of the paneling is original bent birch wood. She feels like “A Big Hug” when you lay in her beautiful curved bedroom. Total privacy, with your own patio and barbecue, fire pit, outdoor bathtub, Solar powered outdoor shower, one in Flo also, a 16' x 4' salt water above ground seasonal pool. May-October. Not to mention all the great hiking opportunities right here in the Verde Valley. 4 perennial creeks all flow into the Verde River, all with wonderful hiking opportunities. Wet Beaver Creek, Clear Creek, Fossil Creek and Oak Creek. Newly added Flo's Pet Paradise where your best friend can dig if he wants, chew some fresh bones, lay on the couch and then go get a nice rinse off in the outdoor shower! Sally is a 1976 Silver Streak Trailer- completely redone on the inside- although she still has vintage charm. This cozy Young rental is located in the midst of nature but still in a neighborhood, and can accommodate two guests for a romantic weekend getaway in Arizona. Comfy Queen bed with ensuite bathroom (sink, toilet, shower). In truth the indoor shower is rarely used- the huge Bath House just outside has a rain shower and shower wand, claw foot bath tub and flush toilet. Hot soak in the tub or plunge into the Cowboy stock tank just steps away. Private!
In the living area, guests can lounge on comfortable chairs and relax watching TV (bring your passwords!), the dining table is perfect for two people. The kitchen is equipped with enough cooking utensils, dishes and silverware, pots and pans, a microwave, small fridge, kettle, toaster, coffee maker (coffee, creamer, sugar), and air fryer to satisfy your weekend needs. Other amenities include free parking and Wi-Fi, and gas grill.
When guests go outside, they will find a covered porch with two chairs and the outdoor fire table has more seating for star gazing (black sky- no city lights). Also, outdoor table and chairs for dining.
There will NEVER be anyone in the Gray Cabin unless you rent it so you can use the extra beds.
The fully fenced acre will let your small to medium size dog race around and go crazy with freedom!
