There are also outdoor bathrooms, no shower yet, but working on that! We're just a short seven minute drive to the dump station at a local gas station down the road on the Deuce of Clubs and Penrod. We are 14 minutes from a large hospital, 10 minutes from major grocery stores, shopping and restaurants, and many other fun activities. Our location is in a perfect spot to enjoy the blue sky and great weather. Sunrise Ski area is a quick drive too! Pinetop Lakeside are within 10 minutes, Taylor and Snowflake are within 15 to 25 minutes. We hope you visit and continue to keep our environment clean and a chill spot to visit. Cheers! We also offer a few extras at check-out... We have our 4S free range, nest run eggs for $5.44/dozen. Start your trip off right with a bundle of our premium firewood. Mostly juniper, nicely dried and bagged. Just remind us at check-in with your receipt. This is not the cheap wood they sell at the gas station. Please always check for our fire bans that are regulated by the county and state. Always have a bucket of water next to your campfire and make sure it's completely out before you leave it. Please do not bring outside firewood. Please do not take the firewood on our property.

There are 5 round pens, an indoor arena, very large outdoor arena with excellent footing, more than 6 miles of riding trails that are groomed and marked, an obstacle course, a wooden bridge and additional obstacles along the network of trails. We have a large picnic area with hitching rails for up to 30 horses, a large fire pit, a wooden dance floor and a cowboy cooking kitchen, great for parties. Two large enclosed barns and many turn outs with run in sheds. The "Twisted Tree Welcome Center is equipped with a bathroom with a shower, laundry facilities and two loft bedrooms available to rent for $45 per night. The owner is a John Lyons certified horse trainer and a level II Dressage certified instructor, Trish also has more than 20 years training horses and people all over the world. This is a great place to come, ride and camp with your horse. You can also pick up some great pointers from a world class trainer and instructor.

In November 2015 I visited my good friends Brad and Joya who had recently purchased 40 acres outside of Show Low, Arizona and moved to the property. I instantly fell in love with the land. The quiet open spaces, the abundant junipers and the vistas looking up to the White Mountains of Arizona. Fortunately there was forty acres for sale that I bought in the winter of 2016. Since then my partners and I expanded by buying an adjacent 60 acres for a total of 100 acres. I have always been interested in sustainable off-the-grid living. Fortunately for that dream there were no services to the property so we started planning what we needed to live comfortably on the Land. The moto Food, Water, Shelter came to me. With that in mind our first purchase was a 28' by 40' green house, and then came our well. Next we purchased a 600 sq. foot one bedroom manufactured home which we now use as our office and check in point. For power we have a 8.5 kw solar system that gives power to the house. With the wide open spaces it is tranquil not having power lines on the property.We wanted to grow a cash crop that was consistent with our theme. We found that one of the largest Lavender Farms in the country, Red Rock Lavender is 30 miles from us. We arranged to buy Lavender from them, and in the Summer of 2017 planted over 4000 plants in the shape of two mandalas. Once the plants are mature we plan to produce our own line of Lavender products. Our goal of having guests camp on our Land is to share our ideas of sustainable living and the abundant natural resources on and around our property. One side of the property line has a serviceable dirt road. The land has a slight incline but areas are flat enough for RV with levels. I got regular cell service on my phone when I was there on my mobile iPhone. No utilities. Good neighbor guidelines apply. Other neighbors have RVs and keep to themselves. No gas generators can be heard. Beautiful land on rolling hills. It’s located 3 miles from a brand new public library, a gas station, Family Dollar and an elementary school. Solar power and an RV toilet and enclosure would work out great. No neighbors bother you. All the RVers keep to themselves. Lake Concho has dried up in town. There is a Catholic Church, Baptist church and LDS church in town.
