Our 1 acre property just outside of the heart of Central Phoenix has two legacy pine trees, one of which holds a treehouse that was originally built as an extra space for our family and is now open for guests. Not too long ago, our neighborhood roads were dirt, and there are still several horse ranches in the neighborhood. We are Kevin and Tammii. We moved to Mesa in 2019 to build our own “Field of Dreams”. In developing our property we added a Hip-Camp site to our vision. We’ve enjoyed hosting people from all around the country. We’re can accommodate guests for up to three weeks and unable to offer monthly rates. We welcome families with up to two children. Pets are welcome, two or less, and we have a designated pet area for their use. There are two nice sitting areas, a laundry shed with washer, dryer, and drying rack. Internet access is also available. More about the “Field of Dreams”: Our site has a paved level concrete pad with 50 amp service, water, and septic. RVs are required to come with empty holding tanks because of the septic system. We can accommodate up to 43 feet in length RVs. There is a nice landscaped patio area with table, chairs, umbrella, and a privacy screen. There is also a propane fire pit available. Our site is close to Costco, Starbucks, local restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies, and a mall. There is nearby mountain biking, hiking, and site seeing. We are 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix in a quiet residential area.

This spot was fantastic!! Nice and private on our part and the hosts part. We did not feel like we were intruding on her space and she kept her distance making us feel like it was our own private spot. The views were beautiful. It was nice being in town and close to everything but not feeling like we were in the middle of the city! The animals were a huge bonus. Our boys loved seeing them and hearing them every morning. The communication was fantastic. The rules/expectations were very clear and reasonable. We will definitely keep this in mind for future travels.

Nice enough place. Nothing fancy here. Just a big backyard with some shade and grass. The flowers and shade do make it comfortable. A few vehicles stored here and there. It meets the need for a decent place to stay for a couple of nights and the people are very friendly and accommodating. I can't give it a rave review but I don't really have anything bad to say either. It gets the job done and I would stay again if needed.

Bob and Cindy have a wonderful little spot that is convenient to so many things in Tucson. It’s like being in the wilderness but still having the amenities of the city. Cindy was very helpful. It’s extremely well maintained. I know some people complained about the dirt road but we did not find it that big of a deal. We hope that we get the opportunity to wander in that direction again and stay at the Wild Burro!
