Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

Our property is 5 acres accessed by a gated road. The land consists of beautiful mature desert with a small mountain side which is great for a hike/climb. The Tortalita Mountains can be reached directly from the property for miles of trails for your atv, side by side, mountain bikes or even horses.Our 5 acres is located at the foothills of the Tortalita Mountains north of Tucson and between Dove Mountain and Oro Valley. Property is accessed by a gated dirt road and is mainly beautiful mature desert with many large saguaros as well as a small mountainside which is great for a hike to a view of Tucson. Directly from camp is access to the trails in the Tortalita Mountain park great for atvs, side by side, horses and capable mountain bikers. Shopping, restaurants and other amenities are less than 15 minutes away!

The campsite is fairly remote in a private area with a natural setting surrounded by hills. Once at the campsite, there are no homes to be seen or heard. I felt good and recharged.

Private and Peaceful

Beautiful, secluded spot. There are buildings close but you can’t see them from the campsite. You can hear neighbors sometimes at night but nothing egregious and no barking dogs near by. Saw an owl land on top of a saguaro at twilight and check me out before flying off. Would camp here again.
