The road to the property is about 0.8 miles and is considered dirt rugged. It will require you to so down under 5 miles an hour in a few places. You have the entire road to travel on and maneuver around the big bumps. I drive my car to the property ever time and don't have an issue if I slow down and go around large holes. If there is a recent storm in the area the road will be difficult to navigate.

What's even better is the property backs onto the National Forest, for unlimited enjoyment of nature. In the evening crack open a book, or start playing a game with your besties to close out a long day. The property is completely off the grid, making it very appealing to those travelers and adventurers who want to create a minimal carbon footprint on their vacation. The kitchen sink has a hand pump that draws water from under the sink from a 10 gallon water jug. You can refill the jug as needed from a hand pump located in the back yard. There is solar powered lighting and a USB phone charger station. There is no electrical power available. Cell service is available in the area depending on your carrier. The outdoor composting toilet is super clean with little or no odor. The cabin is located at 8200' in the San Francisco Peaks in the pines and aspens. Snowshoe or cross country ski, go sledding or snowmobiling, or just good old fashioned relaxation will make the time fly by. This campsite is 3.7 miles from Grand Canyon Junction for food, gas, water, and supplies, and 30 miles to Grand Canyon National Park. There are two sites with fire pits and campfires are allowed but may be restricted during certain times when warm temperatures and high winds are forecasted. Please bring a shovel to clear the fire pit out if there is sand or leftover wood in it. Other things to note: From Highway 64, travel 0.85 miles east on Pine Rd to reach the property. The dirt road has some bumps but is accessible with a 2WD car when the road is dry but 4WD is recommended when there is snow or rain. Also, since you will be traveling on an unmarked dirt road, it is advised to reach the campsite before dark so it easier to locate. There are no toilets or water so campers will need to bring their own accommodations. Pack in and pack out policy applies. Please check if there are any fire restrictions at the time of your visit and always adhere to state and local fire restrictions. Dry camp on our beautiful one acre high desert oasis under the Milky Way. We are just 30 minutes south of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon where you will visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World. We are one of the few places to dry camp just a few blocks off Hwy 64. It's only a 3 minute drive North to Grand Canyon Junction where Hwy 64 intersects with Hwy 180. In addition, Jeannie was very available via the direct messaging on the app. She was accessible, helpful, and friendly. The neighborhood is also very nice. Be sure your RV will fit into the space available. Our 16' travel trailer fit snuggly.

I just wanna put this out there we were running behind in our trip and made a last minute booking at this place. A very small park believe it has about 10 spots one was open thank god. 50/30 amp fhu sites good water pressure so showering in coach was a dream(no bath house which is not a req for us ). Sites had ample room and a small lava rock base level site. WiFi is free and fast streaming was not an issue. They have a garden, fresh eggs (well behaved chickens on site )and various other things you may need. Laundry on site. Various indoor activities in case of rain in their lodge, and exercise equipment lounge area with tv. For a small business this place was great. Owners are on site and available to answer questions etc. Everything here works on an honor system which is amazing and hope it stays that way. Pets welcome. It doesn’t have all the amenities of a big park which was ok with us we like the quite. Owners make a point to talk with everyone and that personal touch to us means everything!!! If you’re in the area and need a place to stay 5 stars all day long from us! Everything I forgot should be in the pics also they rent absolutely gorgeous tiny homes if that’s what you’re looking for. Plenty of things to do close by as well! — feeling relaxed with Lynn Kahn at Grand Canyon Oasis.

Spencer was a super nice guy! He allowed us to do a late arrival. Area was very quiet & peaceful! He didn't have septic yet but is in the process of putting it in right now - looks close to done.
