Enjoy a huge skylight over the double bed for some of the best stargazing in the country! The Moonshiner is set up on a private acre in a safe and peaceful neighborhood, approximately 30-40 minutes from the Grand Canyon (depending on your driving style and traffic). Guests have full private access to the camper and the surrounding yard. The camper is on a private acre and it’s all yours to do your thing. Your privacy will always be respected, and the property is laid out to ensure that. Please note that the camper does not lock from the outside, but you can lock yourself inside with a deadbolt. This is a community run camper/campsite. Open communication really helps things run smoothly, please contact me if there are any issues regarding your stay. We are unable to offer refunds due to weather, cold temperatures, road conditions or if it wasn't as easy to find as you would have liked. This is a camping adventure, you may face challenges, PLEASE know what you're getting yourself into and come prepared! Complete with all the needed amenities, the bathhouse was really nice and the bar inside the clubhouse was a great touch to the place. It was landscaped so beautifully and the map of the place was clear. It has beautiful views of the mountains from the clubhouse.

this is the perfect cabin retreat to escape a busy life and a busy world. I wanted to disconnect from everything and I found the perfect spot.. this cabin is located in a small community and I heard no leaf blowers, ATV noise, or car noise. The only sounds were bird song and the wind blowing through the Aspens. I enjoyed the off grid aspect of this cabin. There were solar lights in the evening and a hand pump at the kitchen sink for water.. I spent most of my time on the front porch, reading books, and watching a little bird build a nest up in the rafters of the porch. The COmmunity is high and cool at 8200 feet elevation.. I was surrounded by majestic Aspen and pines. I highly recommend this cabin retreat if you want to escape the world and get back to nature. No asphalt and no noise made it perfect for me.. The host was very responsive and we had no issues.

The Glamper Cabin is so cozy and well appointed. It was the perfect escape from the Texas heat. We spent most of our time on the porch watching birds, playing cards and just soaking up the quite mountain air. We got just enough service to play music but were able to stay pretty shielded from the rest of the world. Very tranquil stay.

1 night at Highland Grand Canyon Glamping

We loved staying at Highland. The hosts have really put so much effort into sharing the beautiful land they're on with others, including water and power. The showers were super clean and comfortable and the beds super clean and cozy as well. Keep in mind the temperature extremes - I think the tent heated up too quickly in the morning/early afternoon and it got very cold at night. Fortunately the tent has a heated mattress that kept us warm! Finally, try to book a stay during a cleared sky new moon night. You won't forget the sight of the Milky Way from here.

2 nights at Glamper Cabin in the Aspens & Pines

This cabin was perfection. It was immaculately clean. We sat on the front porch, read our books, listened to the birds, and RELAXED. We sighted deer out the back window both nights. It was just what we needed.

Weekend Trip to Village Camp Flagstaff Cabins & RVs

This was our first time to an RV ‘park’ so difficult to compare to ranches/ BLM etc. Would recommend for families. Pros: - amazing facilities - loved the pool, pickleball, board games and fire pit - lovely mountain view from club house - amazingly clean/ well-kept - direct access to Forest Cons: - packed in like sardines, not very picturesque or relaxing - no mature trees (yet)
