Today, the farm is looking forward to a new course in agri tourism as we begin planning walking gardens, art installations in the landscape, and interactive classes. Our property is lakeside at Rollins Lake In Colfax. We live on over 30 private, beautiful acres with footpath access to Rollins Lake. (3 minute walk from the dome or house, and 10-15 minutes from the cabin) where most summer days here are spent swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing ect., down at the water. Please note the Cabin is set on a seasonal CANNABIS garden. All three sites are vacation spots with AC and WIFI, not just simple accommodations, but experiences. The remarkable property is very hilly with pines and oaks. You can follow our driveway to the bottom and access the beginning of The Bear River which has a nice hiking trail alongside it or drive 8 minutes to the nearest boat ramp and 10 minutes to the town of Colfax where you will find gas, groceries, and restaurants. We have a beautiful spot where you will not see any neighbors so it is peaceful and private with gorgeous 360-degree views. It is also very safe! Bask in nature, quiet, and privacy! In summer there is a 3-night minimum for the cabin and dome. Occasionally a two day midweek will pop up on the schedule last minute. To see correct pricing, enter your dates as they can fluctuate with holidays, weekends. Prices are decreased midweek. We have 3 accommodations on the property -A GUEST SUITE (lakeside), up to 5 people. -A CABIN (15 min walk or 3 min drive/5 min walk, up to 4 people. -A GLAMPING DOME with an additional teepee tent site (lakeside)! This is a very peaceful spot among the trees with a small meadow and creek on the property. As our name suggests, bears are occasionally in the area so keep an eye out. There is much to explore in the area and more with only a short drive to the South Yuba River, Emerald Pools, Lake Spaulding, Donner Pass, Donner Lake, and Truckee.

Turner Beach At Lake Almanor is a privately owned vacant lakefront lot. The property is wide enough to accommodate 3 RV's/camp trailers end to end, ensuring no blocked views of the lake. You will be camping along Lake Almanor's East Shore on your own private campground instead of "combat camping" in the popular public campgrounds nearby. Additionally, the property can accommodate numerous smaller vans and tents. We have 2 mooring buoys and a large dock. (Dock may no longer be in the water after September) There is a sani-hut potty which is maintained/cleaned weekly. The property is located between the lake and the highway, so there will be road noise. Some guests have been bothered by the traffic and some have not. We have 2 SUP boards, 3 kayaks, and a canoe as well as a 5-person pedal boat that can be borrowed while renting our beach. Doing so will be at your own risk and you are required to wear personal floatation devices (lifejackets). Lifejackets are not provided, so you will need to bring your own. We ask that you please respect our toys and take care not to damage them or lose any parts/pieces. ALL RENTERS MUST TAKE THEIR OWN TRASH WITH THEM WHEN THEY DEPART No Fireworks, No firearms, No drugs allowed. Dogs are allowed and we do have a 10 x 10 x 6 kennel onsite. Campers are responsible for minding their pet's safety, politeness, and picking up their poo-poo's. Marshmallow roasting/cooking fires must be kept small and are only allowed in the provided fire ring. There is some small firewood onsite, and if you need more you can purchase nearby at Almanor Landscape Supply or bring your own. The early mornings are tranquil, and the sunsets are STUNNING! We hope you enjoy your stay! **Please understand, if you private message us asking to pay us directly to avoid the HIPCAMP fees, the answer will be a resounding NO! The property is primarily oak savannah and pastureland, with adjacent fir/pine and madrone/manzanita forests and hillsides. The land sits in a valley where both Soda Creek and Carter Creek enter in to Emigrant Creek as it flows onward to Emigrant Lake, just a mile away. We are a working ranch and do not provide any hookups such as water, electricity or sewer. That would change the experience you get while staying on the ranch. RV's are welcome to use their generators. Water is available for drinking and to fill up your tank. The bathroom is closed for the season and will not open until the weather improves. We have two dog runs available. Your dogs need a rest while traveling so feel free to let them off leash in the dog run. We have a lot of open room so we will help you park in the pasture where you will be surrounded by the animals. We have a short dirt road leading into the ranch. If you love animals and want a ranch experience this is a campsite for you? There is not another camping experience like this. You will love it!!
