Needles Outpost offers a serene camping experience with its stunning views and proximity to Canyonlands National Park. Campers frequently praised the welcoming hosts, Amber and Caleb, and their friendly animals, Cocoa the dog and Needles the cat. Many visitors appreciated the peacefulness of the location and the amazing stargazing opportunities. While some noted that the bathhouse facilities could use an upgrade, the overall cleanliness and the unique charm of the place left a positive impression.

Super easy to get to and great sites all around the property. Right next to the entrance to the Needles side of Canyonlands. Great views from the campsite and even better star gazing!

I really like this campsite. Very quiet and relaxing. The view with sunset is also very beautiful.

As described, this was desert camping. Beautiful, dramatic views of mesas and rock formations. Our campsite backed against an intriguing red rock wall that glowed in the evening and radiated warmth until after dark. Sites were far enough apart to lend a sense of privacy. We noticed that visitors really respected the campground “rules” around quiet hours and limited use of lights at night, respecting the dark sky policy. Amber and Caleb were extremely friendly and gave us lots of ideas for day trips. Canyonlands, Needles District, was much quieter than the more popular Bryce and Zion where it was hard to get away from the crowds at this time of year. We shall return to Needles Outpost!
