Welcome to Cedar Bloom, a 100 acre riverside sanctuary nestled in the forests of Southern Oregon, just outside the small town of Cave Junction. With over 2,000 guest reviews and a 98% recommendation rate on Hipcamp, Cedar Bloom has become one of Southern Oregon's favorite riverside camping destinations. Set along a mile of the gorgeous Illinois River, Cedar Bloom is a place to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the simple beauty of life outdoors. During your stay, you're invited to enjoy all of Cedar Bloom's shared amenities, including two beautiful shower houses, sauna and wood fired hot tub, large commercial kitchen, tea House, camp store, nearby hiking trails, and a mile of private riverfront to explore. Spend the afternoon relaxing at our family beach, wandering peaceful forest paths, or cooling off at our beloved swim hole, where you'll often find mermaids perched on the rocks soaking up the sunshine. Perfectly located for exploring Southern Oregon, we're just a short drive from the Oregon Caves National Monument, the world renowned Redwoods, the Wild and Scenic Rogue River, wineries, hiking trails, Ashland, Grants Pass, Jacksonville, and the Southern Oregon Coast. Originally purchased in 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering, Cedar Bloom was created to protect this remarkable landscape while offering a peaceful place for people to gather, rest, learn, and heal. Each June, the land becomes home to Spirit Weavers, an annual women's gathering welcoming more than 1,200 women for two weeks of skill sharing, creativity, and connection. Throughout the rest of the year, we are honored to share this special place with campers, families, retreats, weddings, and travelers seeking a quiet escape into nature. Our family lives here year round and cares deeply for every meadow, forest trail, and stretch of river that makes Cedar Bloom so special. As caretakers of this land, we are committed to protecting its forests, river, and wildlife while inspiring a deeper appreciation for the natural world. We hope your time here leaves you feeling restored, inspired, and more deeply connected to nature. This is our home, and it is truly our joy to share it with you. Welcome to Cedar Bloom.

🌲Trade crowded campgrounds for open meadows, towering forests, and a mile of clear, clean river. Choose your own perfect campsite beneath the trees and wake to the sounds of the Illinois River. Pitch your tent by a picnic table, wherever the forest feels most like home. With over 2,000 positive guest reviews and a 98% recommendation rate on Hipcamp, Cedar Bloom has become one of Southern Oregon's most beloved riverside camping destinations. Nestled along a mile of the beautiful Illinois River, our Open Camping invites you to choose your own campsite beneath the trees on our 100 acre riverside sanctuary. Unlike a traditional campground, there are no numbered campsites here. Instead, you'll have the freedom to find a spot that feels just right, whether that's tucked beneath the forest canopy, beside an open meadow, or just a short walk from the Illinois River. Guests have access to a mile of private river frontage with two beautiful swimming areas, including our family friendly Beach or the deeper waters of our Swimming hole "Mermaid Rock". You are also welcome to enjoy our hot showers overlooking the river, a community kitchen, Tea House, Camp Store, walking trails, and shared gathering spaces throughout your stay. Whether you're traveling with a tent, van, rooftop tent, or RV, Open Camping offers the opportunity to unplug, slow down, and experience the beauty of Cedar Bloom at your own pace. Please note that while you are welcome to camp on the river, vehicles cannot be driven down to the riverfront. Instead, you'll park nearby and carry your gear a short distance. Hipcamp may assign a site number, but there are no designated campsites. We are just a short drive from the Oregon Caves National Monument, the world famous Redwoods, the Wild and Scenic Rogue River, wineries, hiking trails, Grants Pass, Ashland, and the Southern Oregon coast. We acknowledge the Takelma people, the original stewards of this land, whose deep relationship with these forests and rivers continues to inspire our commitment to caring for this place. Whether you're swimming in the river, sharing tea beneath the trees, relaxing in the sauna, or watching the stars emerge overhead, we hope you leave feeling restored, inspired, and more deeply connected to the natural world.

When Women Gather Book: Spirit Wvrs$77.00 per itemWhen Women Gather Book: A Decade With Spirit Weavers (published June 2023) chronicles ten years of sisterhood, ceremony, and skillshare. The book captures the intimate feminine experiences of living in community in the deserts of Joshua Tree, in the redwoods of Northern California, and realizing a dream at Cedar Bloom in Southern Oregon. With contributions from celebrated SWG community members as well as over 300 pages of stories, photographs, recipes, songs, meditations, and poems from beloved sisters, When Women Gather commemorates the Weave’s enduring presence in our hearts long after the Hearth Fire fades to embers. From the very beginning it was clear that we would not be doing any press. As the Gathering grew so did the inquiries from the media. Major publications, interviewers, podcasters and influencers began to reach out, wanting all the details about the Gathering, its participants and its founder. But, nobody would be giving anything away. The Gathering was too sacred to be reduced to words on a page or website. If someone wanted to know more, they would need to attend in person in order to understand, which was why the answer to press inquiries was always, “no thank you.” What makes this book extra special is it’s the first time in ten years that our story is being told. We get to share a collection of our stories & experiences with our own voices, from our own perspective. The story is ours only to tell. This is the way. *Also for those who’s friends and family always ask “What is this Spirit Weavers gathering you always go to?!” You can just hand them this book! 11 x 9 Hardbound printed sustainably by Hemlock Press in Canada 300 plus pages Designed by Erica Ekrem of Loom Bound Book Doula: Em-J Staples Authors: Spirit Weavers Community Cover Photography: Leslie Satterfield *Please note higher price point due to sustainable printing here in the US which is double the price. The most common choice is printing overseas but we wanted to go with a sustainable option.
