This was a great little spot right on the river. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed camping here. We were lucky as the Glamp site was empty. The 2 sites are much closer than I expected and had someone been there it would definitely have changed the experience. Fortunately we had the place to ourselves and had a great time.

Absolutely beautiful, remote spot! I could not recommend this spot more, right on the beautiful Kennebec! Fishing is amazing, local food is amazing, great food truck right at the end of the road! Saw a baby moose, plenty of bald eagles, and gorgeous views. Don’t forget to read the camp rules on the inside door of the outhouse ;)

My fiance and I loved our stay and were sad to leave. Very peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we needed. Took the canoe out a couple of times. Saw tons of eagles, a nest, and a deer crossing the river. The view was beautiful and the stars were so bright! Very easy to find and in a great location. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again. Thank you Erik!

Tent camping on Erik’s land was a wonderful experience! Kayaking and fishing was fun. Close to many trails. Close to provisions and a restaurant up the road. Look for the bald eagle flying up the river in the morning! Be careful going down to the river (it is a steep embankment. River water is cool to bathe in so be prepared but it is refreshing.
Very glad that the site next to us was not booked or did not show (it is very close). Otherwise there wasn’t a soul around.

Beautiful view! Privacy was amazing and it was fantastic that we were able to catch fish right down the hill. The last night was complete with bald eagles flying, orange moon, gorgeous water and no people in sight. The cafe a few minutes walk away was a highlight too. It was nice to not to have to get in the car to get coffee and fantastic food.

We absolutely loved camping at the Flashing Moose! We only had an issue the first night, the other tent on the property was rented and they parked in our spot. We came in after 8 pm so they probably thought the site would be empty. They moved and there was no issues. Other than that we really loved the site! It was very peaceful. We had 2 bald eagles visit us, and heard the loons. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful spot to camp. Unfortunately, it's close to another site not posted on here. It is not as exclusive as it may seem. If you get the right people staying on other site, it won't be an issue. We weren't so fortunate. You should plan on getting both sites.

What a beautiful spot Erik has! We enjoyed kayaking right from the site. We anchored our tubes and floated in the sunshine ☀️ and caught some fish from shore.
You might not be alone since there is a Glamping tent on site also, but look at the view and you forget you have neighbors! Thank you Erik for a wonderful stay!

This is the most perfect camping site! It’s peaceful, quiet, and the best spot to reconnect with nature. We saw five bald eagles, countless loons, and a whole ton of other cool birds. With a fire going and a citronella candle, the bugs were not a major issue. There’s a metal grate for cooking over the fire and a clothesline already strung up. Watch out for poison oak around the property, if you know what you’re looking for then it’s easy to avoid.

We loved camping on Erik’s land! There was plenty of flat space to park our car, which we slept in. Besides hearing the neighbors from time to time, it felt extremely private. The first night of our stay, there was another group staying on the land as well, in the glamping tent. With both of us there, it was definitely a bit cramped, but for the price and the view, we weren’t bothered. I’d check air bnb to see if the glamping tent is rented before you go so you know what you’re getting into.
