Our beautiful, 13-acre property is the perfect mixture of woods and grassland fields, both with several walking trails to stroll around. When I moved my family of 7 here from n.e. Ohio 11 years ago we didnt know anyone at all. I am a people person, I love music and I was determined to meet some new friends. So, i decided to build a fire pit and a makeshift stage and have a party! This party was called, Friend Fest, A reason to gather and celebrate the gift of friendship. Our motto: Come as strangers, leave as friends. We were on our 9th Friend Fest until Covid. Over the last few years we have added more amenities to the property. Disc golf, Walking/ hiking trails, fishing, baseball diamond, bonfire pit, 10x14 covered stage, swimming pool, primitive glamping cabin. We also host Nature Education classes on the property. We continue to use our property for good by bringing people together and enjoying life, friends and music. Learn more about this land: Cabin: $60, Enjoy a walk through our many trails. A fishing pond is right through the woods in easy walking distance. Hanging Rock State park, NC. is a 20 minute drive away! Relax and comfortably sleep in our roll away, twin bed in the yard under the stars of the Blue Ridge mtns. or in the cabin. Drift asleep to the sounds of nature. Before you say goodnight, enjoy your dinner and smores over the firepit, (free wood) We have a 14X16 covered stage for entertainment, a 10X10 firepit with surrounding benches. If youd like to hire entertainment and need good local recommendations we would be happy to help. The entire entertainment area and campground sits away from any houses in complete privacy from any neighbors. The cabin and campground is 450 feet away from the house. If you gotta go #1, then all you need to find is a tree in the woods. Or, you can take the short walk up to the porta potty. Toilet paper is provided. We also keep a roll of TP in the cabin for emergencies.

Cuddling together with dawgs 🤗

With pets

Very cute and quaint place. We are a couple who still likes to snuggle and be in the open wilderness. This site was perfect for that. Very friendly family and animals to keep you company. They make wonderful watch dogs and really make you feel safe. The little extras they leave behind is quiet lovely to say the least. Can’t wait to go back when more time allows. Thanks again for the hospitality, Chad.

Quiet ,private camping experience.

Very private setting, quiet area. Host was accommodating. Could use removable tarp for rain protection ,previously discussed. And frying pan for egg ,omelet prep.

Staying at Chad's cabin was a real adventure for our family of 4 and we loved it! I stayed here with my husband, 2 year old, and 7 month baby. Chad was so accommodating and detail oriented in everything. We slept with the cabin doors closed and squeezed the 4 of us into the bed because the kids wanted to be close to use. It was tight and cozy and definitely something we will always remember. Thank you for a special experience!

A great place, quick response from the host, we arrived and chad gave us a tour of the place, explained everything and was pending during our stay. the place is beautiful and peaceful, I would definitely go back. I was accompanied by my husband and my 7 month old baby and it was great. I highly recommend it !! thank you mr. Chad and family!

Loved it

I love the cabin! Really cozy inside, perfect for a couple. It was easy to find and you have to drive down a small path to the site so it's good to have a jeep or truck but it wasn't too far. Site is spacious and well kept up with a fire pit and places to cook if needed. Chad and his family are super sweet and accommodating and I felt really welcomed. I hope to go back again sometime, I think the summer would be awesome!! Thanks!

Chad was great and the site was event better than expected. The little house is super cool with tons of little details that just made it all the more special. I loved the little “happy” signs. I can’t recommend this place more! Will definitely be back!
