Moon In The Pond Farm
4 units · Glamping, Motorhomes, Tents35 acres · Sheffield, MAMoon In The Pond is a small farm nestled on a quiet and picturesque dirt road in the southern Berkshire hills in Sheffield, Massachusetts. Raising food naturally and sharing the experience has been a strong and growing commitment throughout the farm’s 30+ year history. Through production and education Moon In The Pond maintains a strong focus on the elegant integration of historic and modern technology. The farm is situated on preserved land that is surrounded by thousands of acres of wild, conserved land (in part owned by The Nature Conservancy). Our 'campsites' are located in quieter areas of the farm. One is near the pond, the other under the trees on the edge of our vegetable garden field, During the day times, you may see or hear farm work. At night it's serenely quiet and lusciously dark. You'll hear owls hoot, frogs croak, crickets chirp, foxes yowl and coyotes howl! In June and July the fields and trees light up like Christmas with fireflies, and you'll see the stars. During the week is the absolute best time--all campsites are reduced rates and local hot spots or cooling down spots are much quieter. If you can, take advantage of that by adding a Friday or Monday to a weekend stay. Farm to table! Never so close!! Bring your cooking gear and get some fresh organic food--veggies, chops, steaks, or sausages, eggs, bacon, granola, yogurt, etc. Sear yourself up a treat! Near here are numerous well-marked hiking trails (including the Appalachian Trail and several offshoots). From the farm, there is even an easy trail (on land of The Nature Conservancy) that winds through woods around rock ledges and through wetlands (on a 600' long boardwalk) and ends at a beautiful stream and pond with a gigantic beaver dam. Also in the neighborhood are canoeing, kayaking, swimming, rock climbing, off-road, dirt-road and country-road biking, snowshoeing, cc skiing and pretty much any outdoor activity/adventure opportunity. As an alternative cultural mecca there are numerous other entertainment opportunities from fine dining to yoga, art, dance and music. It's still amazingly quiet and the Milky Way is clearly visible. Participation in farm activities can be arranged, as well as organic home cooked farm meals (not available Fridays or Saturdays). (Meals are at additional cost!)

Quarry Brook
3 units · Glamping, Tents100 acres · VTIt all started on a first date in Boston....Nick had to excuse himself to take a phone call. His cow had fled its pasture. Much to Tara's surprise in that moment, this man she had just met was finishing his engineering degree at Northeastern, but was simultaneously building a homestead in Vermont. Fast forward 7 years, and here we are, building the life we only dreamed of. We yearned for simplicity. Deeper connections to our surroundings and mother nature. A calmer sense of place. The satisfaction that comes from growing food. Creating with our hands. We're a working farm and homestead. Every day at Quarry Brook is a new adventure, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We’re incredibly excited to share our little corner of southern Vermont and what we’re up to with you!

Welcome to The Wolf Swamp!
13 units · Motorhomes, Tents52 acres · Canterbury, NHThe property used to be part of the old Johanson farm, it was a 200 acre dairy farm a hundred years ago. when the State put in the highway (I-93) in 1961 it split the farmland in half. So now there are a hundred acres on each side of the Highway. The old stagecoach road which runs through the property from Canterbury Station to Northfield Station is now part of the main trails system. The early Pony Express riders dubbed the swamp on the land "Wolf Swamp", because there were many reports of riders seeing Wolves in the Swamp. The property is very open, although the sites are very spread out and secluded for ultimate privacy. There are several great hiking trails on the property, also used by local mountain bikers and Horseback Riding. Occasionally there will be an ATV or Dirt Bike passing through. We are located in the Heart of the local Trail system. There are several great places to swim and Kayak or Canoe literally around the corner. There are also lots of great local attractions close by, many that have Farm Stores, Shops, Homemade Gifts, Breads, Pies, Cheeses and we even have a few local Breweries. There is something for everyone, just ask and we will point you in the Right Direction.

Stony Rose Farms
5 units · Glamping, Motorhomes, Tents38 acres · Kingston, NYStony Rose Farms is located in the beautiful and historic Hudson Valley. Our area has a rich farming heritage and our land was once part of a much larger farm. We purchased the land in February of 2020 and have created our own off grid paradise full of chickens, flowers, bees and lots of different types of plants. We are NOT a commercial campground, we are a working farm that offers Agrotourism stays and experiences. WINTER CAMPING: Winter camping can be great fun, as long as you are prepared! Please make sure you have adequate gear and are prepared for the cold. We advise you arrive in a 4WD vehicle so that you are prepared for the sloping gravel driveway and field no matter the weather. Be sure to check out our chicken coops. Our hens and roosters play an important role in the sustainable agricultural practices we use on the farm. Our lovely ladies provide us with delicious and colorful eggs each day. Your breakfast at the farm can't get any fresher... sunny side up eggs dripping yolk onto fresh local bread, fresh melons and berries still warm from the sun, sweet honey and local milk in your coffee. A true farm to table meal is possible year round in our beautiful valley! Most weekends we offer a breakfast basket filled with goodies produced on our farm or by other local growers. The back of our property is also wooded. If you are quiet you are certain to see birds, squirrels, chipmunks, turkey and deer as you walk along the creek and explore the mossy rocks and tiny waterfalls. If you follow the marked bushwack trail you'll be guided over fallen trees and through breaks in historic stone walls, then across the creek and up the hill you will come out onto the O&W Rail Trail. This 27 mile trail is perfect for hiking, biking and strolling. In some segments it is smoothly paved and others it is gravel. From this trail you can access multiple parks, libraries and museums if you are looking for a long hike or ride. We are centrally located between Kingston, Kerhonkson, Woodstock and New Paltz and all are about a scenic 20 minutes drive. The NYS Thruway is less than 10 minutes away if you are travelling through. The Rondout Valley is home to multiple breweries, amazing restaurants, luxurious spas, places to kayak, fish, swim, rock climb... or you could spend your entire visit at the farm reading a good book and enjoying beautiful sunsets. PLEASE NOTE: -We are a working farm that uses sustainable organic methods. There are bugs (ants, ticks, bees, mosquitos, etc) and areas with long grass. We keep the grass at the campsites short but you will have long grass around you. That long grass is home to numerous kinds of birds that only live in that type of habitat. Poison ivy is also possible when out in nature, we do NOT spray any chemicals on ANY of our land. -The sites are within earshot to the chicken coops, we DO have roosters and you WILL hear them. -There are wild animals around the farm. You should store away all food and garbage when you are not at the campsite. We would like to keep them cautious of humans and not a nuisance! -On holiday weekends we do have a minimum night stay.
