Dock on the pond, the pond is currently low due to drought and being very late summer but still full of wildlife including fish, turtles, ducks, geese, cranes, muskrat, and more. I expect it will be full again by spring.

BK Produce Farm
9 units · Motorhomes, Tents11 acres · SDUncle B's farm is a small 11 acre hobby farm with a large vegetable garden, chickens, peafowl, guinea fowl, turkeys, dogs, and cats. There is an old quarried stone railroad bridge and a few short walking trails around the pond. The pond is at the back of the property where I have 6 dry camp sites for tents or self contained RV's. All sites have partial to full shade and most have mature trees that will work for a hammock or tensile tent. The "shower shack" has 2 separate 3/4 baths with all modern plumbing and is shared by all guests. Available at Uncle B's RV Camper site I have 3 RV sites with water and 30 Amp electrical hookups. All of the campsites have a firepit, some with cooking grates and all sites have a picnic table. Uncle B's farm has been voted Best Hip Camp to see in South Dakota. Come see why...

Swan Lake Resort & Campground
21 units · Glamping, Motorhomes, Tents17 acres · Fergus Falls, MNSince 1949, we've been a family-operated resort & campground on Swan Lake in Fergus Falls, MN. We offer lakeside cabins, tent camping, and full hook-up, pull-through RV sites. Here, there is time to slow down, room to breathe, and lots to explore. Soak up the sun on the sandy beach, hike through the hidden trails, and take the pontoon out for a cruise. Be sure to turn the tech off and challenge a rival to ping pong, crack a cold one, and explore the water on stand-up paddleboard. Bring the little ones and get messy at the arts & crafts table, catch a sunfish off the docks, and indulge in s’mores around the campfire. Don’t forget to show us what you got on the volleyball court and savor an ice cream at the camp store. Curl up in a hammock and get lost in a good book, smile at the flowers and gaze in awe at the night sky. Just be.

Creekwood Acres, LLC
2 units · Glamping89 acres · St. Joseph, MNWe purchased the property in 2003 in order to escape the city life and be closer to nature. Over the years we have developed our sustainable farm, raising grass-fed cattle, free-range chickens, turkeys, pigs and vegetables. We work hard to maintain practices that heal the land and preserve it for the future. No chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, pesticides or herbicides are used here. We raised our four children here and have made many memories together as we learned to farm, build and enjoy our land. We continue to create and build towards a long-term vision, creating a haven for artisans with self-sufficient living in mind. Welcome to our inviting custom built cottage. It is located on our property, approximately 300' from on our home on our 88 acre land plot, located 10 minutes outside of St. Joseph, MN. We are very near St. John's University and the College of St. Benedict. Hiking trails located on our property as well as nearby County parks and St. John's University. We are 6 miles from the Wobegon Trail (76 miles long) which is great for biking, roller blading, walking and running. Come explore Creekwood Acres which is host to a great deal of wild life as well as sustainably raised animals with a process we call rejuvenative farming. Wander through the woods and listen to the birds, watch monarch butterflies, our cattle, pigs, free-range chickens, and hear the frogs, crickets and occasionally distant coyotes. The Watab Creek runs through the property which consists of fields, forest and a pond. Our cozy cottage was built by our family using lumber sawn on our property. There are two double beds up in the loft accessible by ladder and one queen size sofa sleeper on the main level . A wood burning stove keeps the cottage cozy in cooler weather. There is a composting sawdust toilet in the cottage and an exterior outhouse, running water with a hot shower. Electricity keeps the cottage aglow and runs a refrigerator, microwave, sound system and fans. Also available for your convenience, an apartment size range/oven. Enjoy a fire in a private fire ring near the cottage. Firewood available for purchase (for exterior fire ring). Enjoy a wood-fired sauna upon request. The sauna has been known to get quite hot! At this time, we are taking reservations for the Cottage. We are currently working on developing campsites and another rustic cabin on the property for people who wish to tent camp with a goal of creating a unique experience and wonderful memories. Theres so much more to come and your current support to help with our reinvestment in Creekwood Acres is so greatly appreciated!!! Side Note: We truly strive to accommodate everybody's needs and wishes. The more we host, the more I understand some people just want to be left to enjoy a quiet weekend while others love to engage and develop a connection. I love to engage and develop connections and yet completely respect the desire for others privacy to the utmost degree. I try to let the guest set the stage and expectations based on the first greeting and any encounters. Please feel free to state your hopes and wishes, Also..., we are passionate about our farming methods with a strong sense of homesteading. If your are interested in learning more about regenerative farming or would like to secure a plot of land of your own, but are unable to secure financing..., our Realestate holdings company may be able to help finance that for you. Our quest with this thought would be to bring people back to the land in a holistic, spiritual, and conscientious manner. Todd

There is nothing more magical than a tent at twilight. The bell tent is set up with pretty string lights on the posts and down the front, as well as a lantern hanging from inside the top, so even after dark the tent was an inviting place to hang out.

Heidi House Organic Farm
2 units · Glamping80 acres · NEOur property is so peaceful! Away from the city, away from the stress. You can see the stars at night and listen to the birds chirp in the morning. I also have three very friendly cats who would love a little pet if you have a second. And we have cows, of course! There is a lot of farm land surrounding us, and some beautiful gardens next to the tiny house. Walking the trails through the trees is a must! It is beautiful. Such a tranquil, remote setting, but only an 8-minute drive into town, where you'll find a few restaurants, a grocery store, gas stations, and all the basics you'll need.
