Head west through Wales to the coast and somewhere by the south east corner of Ireland is the beautiful region of Pembrokeshire. Halfway between the smallest cathedral city in the realm and the site of the last invasion of Britain by their Gallic neighbours is the idyll of Sir Benfro. Once in Trevine or Trefin, there is a long bumpy lane with no tarmac. Watch that sat nav go into the blue, and you too can be Ar y Mwny.
Make your camp nestled on a gentle hillside, with panoramic views of the sea and countryside. Located just about as far away from any roads as its possible to get in this part of Pembrokeshire, yet still only a short walk to the coast via footpaths.
Being situated amongst several hundred acres of farmland, we not only have inspirational views but also the blessing of unobstructed sunrises and sunsets, followed by a wide open starscape.
Its possible to take the wildlife for granted, but across the seasons we can delight in the bird flocks, and casually greet the resident buzzards and foxes and the family of Jac y Do that have raised their young here over several decades. And now, the little birds are managing to flourish too. We live here in harmony, and are thankful for the space. Forget that clock.
For each pitch there is:

Good firewood available to buy by the basket.
Toilets and Showers, currently consisting of:
A main toilet block with three toilets with wash basins - each in family-sized rooms.

A utility room for hot washing up, and a wash and dry laundry option.

It also includes participation in the Club's 'Trees for Life' scheme, whereby a tree is planted for every member we enrol.

Quiet location though centrally placed to many tourist attractions , Folly farm, Oakwood, Wake park, Llysfran dam and many more, as well as the beaches Amroth 5 miles, Tenby and Saundersfoot 9 miles. The boutique town of Narberth is a mile or 20 minute walk. The nearest bar is a 10 minute walk to Noble court. We offer electric hard standing and grass pitches as well as non electric pitches, children’s playing field and walks around the fields.
We also welcome pets at a small charge per day, with responsible owners and encourage to use the fields to walk their dogs.
Our facilities are new and offer showers and toilets, toilet disposal, fresh water and recycling. We also now have a kids play park, to be supervised by adults. The views over the Preseli mountains are stunning, which will enhance your holiday.
We do have a few rules, dogs on a lead at all times, quiet time from 8pm, no loud noise after 10 pm. Young children to be supervised in toilets and the children’s play park
People which persistently break the rules will be asked to leave without a refund.

The space
Waunbayvil camping is set in its own secluded spot on 40 acres of private wildland and woodlands in the Pembrokeshire national Park, with a pond and views of the stunning landscape. It is the perfect getaway, a place to re-connect with nature and your loved ones in the most peaceful place away from it all. This is not a big campsite with lots of other people, you can book one of 3 seperate fields for a private group, or otherwise, only 2 or 3 families very spread out at a time.
The pitches are set out with plenty of space in between. There is parking for cars or campervans with nothing but nature all around you. We also have a small hard standing area for campervan.
There is a shared compost loo, a washing up area, and an off grid shower shack. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings, teaming with wild life and filled with wild orchids and many different species of grasses and wildflowers. It is unique and a treat for people who love natural habitat. The sea is about two miles away where there are spectacular cliff walks for many miles on the Pembrokeshire coast path, and beautiful beaches for swimming.
Bring logs and kindling with you. (Can be bought from any garage)
If you bring a cool box we can top you up with frozen ice packs. Just ask.

We had such a wonderful time at Glan y Mor. The facilities are great, especially the fire pit and kitchen area. The setting is absolutely beautiful and it's easy to walk into town. The hosts are also really lovely. We'll definitely be back!

The bell tent option was perfect for us to rock up and use as a base for a couple of days walking the Pembrokeshire coast - cheaper than an Airbnb, easier than setting up our own tent. The field is quiet and tucked away with basic facilities and super easy for pubs, beaches, buses and shops. We enjoyed the seclusion and a night by the fire before sleeping comfortably in the spacious tent whilst the rain hammered down. Would visit again.

We did a spot of tent camping in Dai’s field. Plenty of space available to just rock up and pick your pitching spot. Views of the sea and cliffs were incredible with easy trails to the cliff/beach area.
Portable toilets were plentiful and clean and running tap water was available. There was also a decent looking shower although we didn’t utilise it.
Dai was friendly and let us know that we could call him at any time if there were problems on site. Also texted us with exact coordinates for the entrance which made finding it easy, although it’s a bit of a tight turn in from the small country road!
Local area was stunning and many cool places are within driving distance. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Quiet and comfortable site. The pitches are a good size and the views were great. Facilities are good and big. Norman, the owner, is a lovely chap and really helpful.

Lovely camp site. Great shop with all the necessities and handy bits and pieces. Lovely staff. Clean toilets and facilities. Would definately choose here again. Very close to beaches and amazing scenery!!

Me and my wife went for the first time and, as first time campers in South Wales, the experience was lovely.
The our pitch was bigger than we expected, the check in process was painless, the view was incredible and I am missing the silence already.
Oh, and the home made pizza was excellent, even if the wait was longer than expected (through no fault of theirs, there were more people than usual ordering)

Really nice facilities that are close to the campsite and lovely woodland walks on site and offsite. Very affordable for what is on offer. A private feel in a sometimes busy site and very lovely castle nearby!

The campsite is in a great location. The toilets and showers were excellent and very clean. However would have been nice if they were more central rather than outside the main site. Would still recommend however.

Open and natural space, which felt safe as the kids ran around. Facilities were all good as described. Some areas/facilities looked perhaps old/tired, but overall generally clean tidy with warm, friendly staff/owners.

Lovely campsite with everything you need - even boiling water for your morning cuppa! Lovely people running the site, very helpful. Toilets and showers are always clean
