Waunbayvil wild camping. A teeny pop up campsite for private groups. Come alone or bring friends and family. Just 10 mins drive from the sea at Ceibwr on the Pembrokeshire coast. The space Waunbayvil camping is set in its own secluded spot on 40 acres of private wildland and woodlands in the Pembrokeshire national Park, with a pond and views of the stunning landscape. It is the perfect getaway, a place to re-connect with nature and your loved ones in the most peaceful place away from it all. This is not a big campsite with lots of other people, you can book one of 3 seperate fields for a private group, or otherwise, only 2 or 3 families very spread out at a time. The pitches are set out with plenty of space in between. There is parking for cars or campervans with nothing but nature all around you. We also have a small hard standing area for campervan. There is a shared compost loo, a washing up area, and an off grid shower shack. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings, teaming with wild life and filled with wild orchids and many different species of grasses and wildflowers. It is unique and a treat for people who love natural habitat. The sea is about two miles away where there are spectacular cliff walks for many miles on the Pembrokeshire coast path, and beautiful beaches for swimming. Bring logs and kindling with you. (Can be bought from any garage) If you bring a cool box we can top you up with frozen ice packs. Just ask. NO LOUD PARTIES Guest access Acres of land and woodland, compost loo, shower hut, pond. Other things to note 40 acres of meadows, wildlife habitat and woods which guests are welcome to roam. You can walk down the track and visit the artists gallery and shop in the big blue barn. Private campsite for small groups of up to 15 set in splendid private countryside in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Beaches for swimming and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for hikes and rambles are three miles away at Ceibwr. Their is a tap and compost loo nearby. You can cook outside on a fire, please bring a fire bowl or bbq and your tents and camping/cooking gear. There is no power. At Waunbayvil wild camping you will have a huge area to yourself, out of site of the 2 other private group areas. Half way down the track turn right into the field on opposite side of track to the pond camping. There are views across to the sea at Dinas head and the Preseli mountains. Just 10 mins drive from the sea at Ceibwr on the Pembrokeshire coast. Waunbayvil pond camping is a semi wooded private camping area, one of three seperate private group camping fields, spaced will apart on our pop up campsite. Come alone or bring friends and family. Just 10 mins drive from the sea at Ceibwr on the Pembrokeshire coast. The space Waunbayvil pond camping is set in its own secluded spot on 40 acres of private wildland and woodlands in the Pembrokeshire national Park, with a pond and views of the stunning landscape. It is the perfect getaway, a place to re-connect with nature and your loved ones in the most peaceful place away from it all. This is not a big campsite with lots of other people, you can have the place exclusively for your group. The pitches are set out with plenty of space in between. Some of the camping area itself is not accessible for vehicles, making it a lovely car free space with nothing but nature all around you. Some pitches you will need to carry tents and equipment up to the camping area,only around 100m from the parking area. We have a wheelbarrow you can use. There is a shared compost loo, a washing up area, and a rustic off grid shower shack. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings, teaming with wild life and filled with wild orchids and many different species of grasses and wildflowers. It is unique and a treat for people who love natural habitat. The sea is about two miles away where there are spectacular cliff walks for many miles on the Pembrokeshire coast path, and beautiful beaches for swimming. Very peaceful stay with views across to Ynys Dinas. Enjoyed the occasional visit from the two ponies!

Waunbayvil pond Camping

We booked Waunbayvil looking forward to a peaceful, quirky off-grid camping experience. The location is beautiful, but unfortunately our stay got off to a very difficult start. The pond pitch wasn't suitable for our VW California (under 5m) with awnings, despite the listing stating vehicles up to 9m. We simply couldn't make our setup fit. The host then directed us to another field, which turned out to belong to neighbours who hadn't been asked. Understandably they weren't pleased to find us setting up camp, but once they realised what had happened they were incredibly kind, allowed us to stay for our 3-night booking, and even brought us bara brith and vegetables the next day. Their generosity completely rescued our holiday. Thank you Helen and Jake! The facilities are extremely rustic. The composting toilet was fine, but the gas shower was difficult to use - only boiling hot or cold after the pilot light went out, and the inside lock wasn't working during our stay. We also experienced a wasp nest in the shower and what can only be described as a biblical flying ant event on our final evening (bad luck rather than the campsite's fault!). This could be a lovely off-grid campsite, but pitch sizes need describing more accurately, and campers should never be directed onto neighbouring land without permission. The scenery was wonderful; the organisation unfortunately let it down.

What a truly magical, tranquil spot! We loved our stay at Waunbayvil and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle. There are so many interesting places to visit just a shirt distance away and the coastline is stunning. We plan to be back!

I've just clicked 'yes, I'd recommend to a friend' but secretly I don't want anyone else to discover this hidden gem! It's so peaceful - a real off-the-beaten-track back-to-nature camping experience. I loved it. The other campers who were there were actually so respectful - no music to disrupt the peace and quiet and sounds of nature. That made it very special indeed and I'd hope all the folk who are attracted here would also relish the silence. What a fabulous experience; I'm keen to return.

Waunbayvil pond Camping

We loved our week at Waunbayvil. It was a gorgeous wild plot with everything we needed. I loved the wildflowers and the excellent conservation that goes on. A beautiful lake with ducks. Lovely spring water. Children played very happily. We cycled to a nearby beach and drove for a few sea swims as well. There was rain but we had a very happy time (a gazebo we put up over the seating area was great) ! Our dog loved the week too. Lovely organic vegetable market in St Dogmaels, where there was the lovely Tuesday market too. I loved the amazing gallery at the main house- highly recommend a look!

Our fave campsite of all time. Fabulous facilities for ‘wild camping’. Hot shower, fitted kitchen, compost loo. And not another person to be seen for miles!! LOVE LOVE LOVE. Thank you for creating the opportunity for such beautiful peace xxx

Back to nature, absolutely beautiful off the beaten track, visited by Welsh ponies ,waking up to the sound of wild life can't get any better, amenities basic but very functional, sitting round the fire pit chilling out ,Just what Doctor ordered! Perfectly situated for exploring Wales hidden gems. Many thanks Nade and John.
