A small family run site in Weston-on-the Green village located with a local pub 5 minutes walk away and on site cafe. The site also has newly refurbished toilet and shower facilities. Amazing location to access Oxford city and easy access to M40 (Junction 9).
Good things await for those who grab a berth at Weston Caravan and Campsite, in the Oxfordshire village of Weston-on-the-Green. For starters, space seekers should be pleased to see that there’s plenty of breathing room around this former dairy farm – excellent news for kids or dogs that need a bit of haring-about time after being cooped up in the car. Depending on where you’ve plonked down you may find that your nearest neighbours are the resident beef cattle, sheep or horses; it’s worth keeping your eyes open for sightings of the hedgehogs that often scuttle about the place too. Perhaps most crucially for those whose stomachs dictate a site’s success is the presence of a café that serves up a tempting range of freshly cooked goodies: breakfasts (no rush – they’re served all day), salads, cakes and coffees, plus cheeses, pies and the like to take away. And the crème de la crème – literally: homemade ice cream in up to 16 (yes, a lipsmacking 16) different flavours. Evening appetites can be sated with a barbecue out on the field, or trotting off to the local pub five minutes’ walk away. The site added a new toilet and shower block in 2018. And how to get to this little slice of rural loveliness? The village is just a few minutes’ drive from the A34 and Junction 9 of the M40, making it both a useful stopover on cross-country voyages and a handy spot for Oxfordshire breaks (perhaps taking in Oxford, Blenheim Palace or bagging bargains in Bicester).

We loved staying at Rolling Fields. The tent was well equipped (kettle, toaster, fridge, three electrical sockets) and thoughtfully laid out, with proper (full sized) beds - one double and a single day bed. It was a home away from home. The play area was an instant success, with climbing frame and trampoline. The play tent was particularly admired.
The site was quiet, just is and people staying in the shepherd's hut, which was perfect.
The private bathroom was very welcome and elevated the glamping experience to new levels.
Each tent has a fire pit with two chairs and a sofa. We cooked on the 'Fire and Dine' fire pit and toasted marshmallows from the embers.
Sitting under the stars around a low fire made for a perfect stay.
I can't fault the place. It was a really great experience. We brought ourselves, clothes, food and torches - everything else we needed was provided.
We will be returning.

Weekend Trip to Little Fleece at Folly Farm
We had a wonderful and relaxing break at Little Fleece. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially enjoyed long soaks in the hot tub and walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The location was very peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind and just chill out. The hosts were friendly, helpful and excellent at communicating before and during our stay.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil countryside retreat.

Weekend Trip to Little Fleece at Folly Farm
We had a wonderful weekends stay at Little Fleece at Folly Farm. We were very impressed with the amenities in the very well thought out shepherd’s hut. We had everything we needed and more. The welcome pack and homemade s toiletries were also a pleasant addition, especially the shortbread :). The hosts were very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed, even offering lifts to the local village however we enjoyed the walk through the fields. A highlight was being shown around the farm and even seeing a lamb being born!! We used the pizza oven one evening which had easy to follow instructions and fire wood available to fuel and ate at the local pub, the harrow, the another night which we rate highly for food and hospitality. All in all a great stay and would highly recommend.

The shepherds hut was fabulous. Lovely quiet, rural location with some excellent dog walks close by. The hut itself was well appointed with fantastic ‘extras’: a fresh crusty loaf, eggs from the owners chickens, butter, milk, huge marshmallows for toasting, biscuits, jam, etc. Great fire pit with wood and firelighters. The hit has an ensuite bathroom with flushing toilet and hot shower. The bed was really comfortable and extra blankets are provided for chilly nights, plus a wood-burning stove and a plug in heater if needed. There is a regular fridge, with ice-box and a 2-burner gas hob for quick fry-ups.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place - we had a fantastic stay.

We loved how secluded & quiet the clearing was. We were on plot 6, and we just loved being right next to the woods but then also having a lot of nice green space plus It was sheltered from the wind. Lastly, the shower was great! It had really good pressure and was nice and hot. 100% would recommend! :)

Superb little shepherd's hut with lovely, thoughtful hosts. They have considered every detail and are attentive, while still giving you plenty of space. Easy-to-use outdoor tub, walking distance to a lovely community boozer and easy access to the ridgeway national trail for 'big sky' views and all your hike/bike/run needs. Plus lambs in the fields in springtime! Strong recommendation, would return in a heartbeat.

Such a great campsite with gorgeous views and super quiet with different options to set up pitch with or without vehicle. Toilets were clean and warm showers. Farm shop was a little walk through the woods so you don’t get the hustle and bustle from that at all but still have access to food/drink by foot although the site is very near local shops by car too. Lovely little walk marked out too to wander around the farm. Staff at the shop & check in were super friendly and helpful, we felt really welcomed!!

We stayed in our motorhome on hard standing pitch, no electric hook up.
David’s site is full of really nice people, and there’s a very relaxed atmosphere.
Facilities are good, great walk down to the village and a massive open sky to watch the stars at night. It does come with being next to a road and there’s a clay pigeon shooting field next door, but it didn’t interfere with us having a great time.

What a lovely campsite, just how they used to be. Felt very safe bring a solo camper. Everyone friendly and campsite warden popped round frequently to check in on campers. Lovely walks across the road and a easy walk into stockbridge. Toliets and showers clean and worked well.

The site was easy to find. The field is huge and very private so we could all park comfortably together. There are toilet facilities up at the farm and the staff were really helpful in directing us. There are some interesting walks from the site around the former RAF Windrush and the local pub can be accessed from the site across the fields so we could easily avoid walking on the main road. I definitly recommend it as an intro to wild camping or a peaceful retreat for those in a self-contained system.

As a seasoned camper I was very surprised to find this little gem of a site! A lovely clean friendly site with toilets/hot showers and washing up facilities which were all clean and well maintained. The play area was a hit with the children, and that was also well maintained and fully accessible for children of all ages. The owner David could not have been more friendly and welcoming and the site warden Mark was also pleasant and approachable. We will definitely be returning in the not to distant future. many Thanks David.

We had a fantastic stay at Stockbridge View Campsite and can’t recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, David made us feel incredibly welcome—he was so friendly and genuinely cared about our experience, regularly checking in to make sure everything was okay.
The facilities were excellent; the showers and toilets were always clean, tidy, and well maintained, which made a big difference to our stay. The park was an absolute highlight for the children—they had so much fun and didn’t want to leave!
Overall, it was a brilliant trip with a lovely atmosphere and great attention to detail. We’ll definitely be coming back!
