Spring Hill Wild Camping
Back to nature
A great site for people who want an authentic wild camping experience. The location is excellent with beautiful views over the valley and a short walk to a great shop, cafe and pub.
Nicholas allowed us to hand feed the Alpacas, which was unexpected extra.
We were thankful to been given a plot with a wooden sleeping hut, which came in very useful as the weather was particularly challenging and our tent leaked.
Best memories were the huge rainbow that appeared and the view of the stars.
Having an early check in/late check out and being allowed to have fires is a big plus.
Thank you Nicholas and family, we will be back.

Spring Hill Wild Camping
It's a really nice site. The views are stunning, not too many pitches and there's a great pub only 5-10 min walk away.
Nicholas kindly came round each evening to offer fire wood. The loos are basic but who cares, that's all part of the charm of the place. Would certainly visit again.

Excellent one nighter!
Excellent one nighter at Nicks site. Super friendly welcome and walk to my pitch. The site had great views of the hills with uninterrupted sights of sunset and sunrise. Having the pub and picturesque village down the road was a treat.
Practical info:
The water comes from a well so up to you if you want to drink it / boil / filter first. No shower. No hot water for washing. Ground has lots of flint in it.

Spring Hill Wild Camping
Basic campsite with great views. Nick met us on arrival and gave us choice of a couple of pitches, both with a picnic bench and spot for a fire. Everything we needed for a one night stay, plus we really appreciated the check-in and check-out times to be able to make the most of the weekend. We'd happily stay again.
