Say hello to our resident alpacas, sheep, pigs, pigmy goats, flock of 250 sheep and of course our lovely boarder collies.
We aim to be a very relaxed spot to be able to rest for a few nights and maybe enjoying a nice camp fire in the evening.
The site includes;
Showers and Toilet block with toilet paper stocked.
Open family pitches for you to choose where you want to set up
Running drinking water
Shared open kitchen
Fires allowed but must be off the ground
BBQ's allowed
To ensure everyone’s enjoyment and safety, please follow these rules:
Supervise children: Always supervise your children and ensure they do not wander off alone.
Clean up after yourself: Dispose of all waste properly in the designated bins and leave no trace behind. Wash any items you use and return them to where you found them.
Respect other campers: Be courteous to fellow campers and respect their privacy and space.
Pets: If you bring pets, ensure they are well-behaved, kept on a leash or have impeccable recall, and cleaned up after. Do not allow your pet to enter another camper's space.
Quiet time: Maintain quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. All music must stop by 10pm, and noise should be minimal after 10pm.
Campfires: Penn Meadow Farm allows fires; but must be kept off the ground in BBQs or firepits. Fire pits are available to rent from check in. Never leave any fires unattended and ensure they are completely extinguished when finished.
Cars/vehicles: Cars and vehicles can be on the field but should move minimally and always under 8mph. Car stereos should not be used for music entertainment.
We do not typically book Large non-family groups unless they are seeking a calm and peaceful stay. These groups must have authorization prior to the visit.

There is a small kids play and picnic tables at the farm shop and bakery. Our pods and huts are dotted around the lake shore and some in small private clearings.
Situated on the edge of the New Forrest National Park and within 20 minutes of the beaches of Christchurch. There is easy access to walking and cycling. With plenty of good pubs and restaurants, some withing walking distance of the site.
The farm itself is home to a farm shop and delicious bakery. So you can easily garb a coffee and pastries for breakfast. Or some local farm produce.
Walking around the lake is reserved for those who wish to book our huts or pods on the lakeside to preserve their privacy and tranquility of the lake and it's nature.

We were pleasantly surprised with the site. Lovely little spot just a 15 minute walk into Stockbridge. Clean facilities and a lovely park for the kids. We loved the fact that there bbq’s and fire pits scattered about for anyone to use (great touch) with a small charge for bbq coals or wood for the fire pits. Would I return, most definitely it’s an hour drive from me so a cheeky little retreat when you need a little peace and quiet. Thank you Dave 👍🏼

A decent striped back camp field. On the doorstep of Holt Heath which made dog walking a breeze.
Visited out of season so I was the only tent camper for the weekend although there seem to be some residents on site.
Did get awoken when one resident came returned to the site at midnight and talking quite loud there on.
But otherwise a nice overnight.

We loved our weekend stay here. The site is really tucked away. We were in the clearing, adult only area - 6 massive pitches, extremely quiet, lots of birdsong (especially tawny owls at night). Lots of walks nearby. Other campers respectfully quiet. Compost loo’s (although trailer loo’s in operation when we went) rustic and hot showers, nestled in the hedge so could see all the blue tits whilst getting changed, which was lovely. Just our kind of place, all recycling and composting offered. If you want quiet, nature, walking, or cycling, no fuss, eco then this is for you.

Weekend Trip to Little Fleece at Folly Farm
We had such a lovely stay here and genuinely enjoyed every minute. The outdoor fireplace area was one of our favourite parts, especially sitting by the fire in the evening, and the little table outside made it perfect for eating and relaxing. The hot tub was wonderful too.
What really stood out was how much care had gone into everything. We had everything we needed, and the homemade touches made it feel even more special: fresh bread, homemade biscuits, handmade soap and a lovely breakfast provided for us. Everything was clean, comfortable and very well thought out.
We were also really impressed by the kindness and care of our host. We felt very looked after from beginning to end. Such a peaceful, beautiful place and definitely somewhere we would happily stay again.

Our stay at Elmwicke was lovely. The facilities were great and were really well cleaned during our time here. The electric hook up sites were quite sizeable and we barely even heard our neighbours. We also had a chat to the staff in the reception / cafe for some advice on pathways we can access and they were a great deal of help!

This is an incredible campsite. The tranquility and the views are phenomenal. I was only booked in for one night and I stayed two…. The facilities are excellent, you need for nothing. The showers and the loos are wonderfully rustic, but really clean & well looked after. Alex, who was on site when I stayed, was very helpful and welcoming. I can’t wait to return. And I haven’t even mentioned my neighbours the goats and the divine alpacas. You will never be disappointed if you stay here. It’s the perfect proper campsite.

We loved our stay. Everyone was so helpful & friendly. The weekend pizza was delicious! And the coffee van in the mornings a great addition!
We love wild swimming so the direct access into the river was a real selling point for us, and it did not disappoint!
Loved the ducks and cat wandering round and coming to say hello.
Overall, a really great stay and we will be returning with the kids in tow next time!

Being Bank Holiday it was very busy but enjoyed my stay. Its a good location, 15min walk down to Stockbridge, yes its by an A road but it wasn't noisy and I was parked close to the gate. Facilities were amazing and clean and loved the little shed to do your washing up in. Bonus for me was the dog wash at the top of the field - my dog decided this weekend was the first time she wanted to roll in cow poo!!! Super simple campsite with all you need for a carefree stay. Will be back :)

Newbury and Reading are the gateways to the eastern downlands, where the hillside towns are dotted with thatched-roof cottages and traditional pubs. Take a leisurely boat cruise along the Kent & Avon Canal, stop to browse the markets in Hungerford, or hike the 20-mile Lambourn Valley Way.
Oxfordshire
The northern borders of the North Wessex Downs spill over into Oxfordshire, where highlights include the market town of Wantage and the Uffington White Horse. Continue north to visit the university city of Oxford or take a road trip along the winding country lanes of the Cotswolds, another AONB.
