We had such a fun time. Claire (our host) was lovely and made us feel incredibly welcome. We didn't bring anything to sit on (as we had taken public transport) and she was kind enough to lend us some benches for us to use on our patch. She ensured that our wood was kept dry for our campfire and that she was within reach should we need anything. We would definitely return again. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Just the one solo night at Hatters testing out some new equipment. Beautiful and well maintained campsite with a friendly owner Claire, who left me to myself. Non electric pitch.

We can only recommend this sweet little camp site in the middle of the orchard. We stayed in a bell tent for the weekend with our 7 year old son. The tent is cosy with a lovely wood burner.
There is a communal hut kitchen with all ustensiles and board games!
We enjoyed all the fire-pit and the honesty box to buy wood logs etc.

The shepherd hut was clean and very comfortable. The location was peaceful and we had some amazing sunsets and rises.
The wood fired hot tub was great as was the wood fire BBQ which was super easy to use and made the food taste great.
We had a fantastic 2 nights and can’t wait to go back.

Brilliant site, lovely views. Perfect for launching kayak or a bit of wild swimming.
Stayed for 2 nights in our motorhome with dog.
Great pizza can on Friday evening with plant based options. Will definitely be coming back

We loved our short stay at Four Winds. The river is right next to the site so we took a couple of paddle boards and were able to paddle into town. Safe, clean, welcoming site. Great pizzas on Friday night too.

Fantastic stay at Four Winds, really nice quiet place, everyone asleep by 2200!
Showers were good along with the toilets, location wise, hire a canoe to paddle to March and stop for a pub lunch back ( 30 mins each way ish) and enjoy the peacefulness.
Fishing is good, however we didn’t manage to catch many.
Very friendly and helpful site team, lots of advice provided if you needed it.

South Cambridgeshire
Cambridge is top of the to-do for most travelers to South Cambridgeshire. Follow in the footsteps of Sir Isaac Newton and Lord Byron as you admire the Gothic architecture, stroll the riverside parklands, and go punting along the Cam River. Outside the city, sloping chalk hills and rural farmlands provide options for country campers.
Fenland
Patchwork farmlands give way to pancake-flat marshlands north of Cambridge. Enjoy leisurely bike rides or wildlife walks around the Fens, take to the water for a narrowboat cruise, or enjoy fishing along the riverbanks. Huntingdonshire
Northwest of Cambridge, the market towns of Huntingdon and St Ives lie along the Great River Ouse. This rural region provides plenty of ways to escape the crowds, from fishing and bird-watching at Fen Drayton Lakes to woodland walks in the Hinchingbrooke Country Park. Both towns have a choice of camping sites and caravan parks, and you’re never far from the water.
