We are a small, friendly, family-run campsite set in the High Weald area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a perfect base from which to explore the beaches, castles, ancient woodlands and towns like Rye, Battle and Hastings.
Dogwood is in the pretty village of Brede, and is walking distance from two fine country pubs.
We are surrounded by stunning countryside where you can take your dog for a short stroll across the fields or go for a long romp through the woods and valleys. Or just sit and relax, listen to the birds and soak up the peace and quiet.
We are fortunate to be in a 'dark sky' area, perfect for long, relaxing summer nights around the campfie, sipping hot chocolate, toasting marshmallows and spotting shooting stars!
During the summer our site is a popular spot for families and campers visiting nearby Camber Sands sandy beach and year round we welcome all different types of campervan, motorhome and caravan.
We look forward to welcome you to our little slice of paradise.
Please note our strict 'no group' policy - we only accept single families, single couple and single campers. No more than 2 adults in any group, even on separate pitches.
Please bring your acoustic guitar or similar but, as this is a quiet site, please no radios, stereos or videos unless you're using headphones. The birdsong here is incredible by the way!
Very wet weather and winter – please note in the off-season, and if very wet, the camping field is closed to vehicles, replaced instead by semi-hardstanding areas or our summer car-park area. Facilities are open but please be prepared for the vagaries of the weather, leaves, puddles and mud. To change pitch please let us know asap so that we can try if possible to find you another. Apart from the car-park, pitches can get very muddy in prolonged, heavy rain. If you are not prepared for these eventualities please do not book.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven.
Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements.
We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests!
We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know.
We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay.
Litter:
You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible.
Pitches to be left as you found them.
Noise:
Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning.
No loud music is to be played at any time.
Children:
Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area.
Dogs:
Must not to be left unattended.
Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available).

Just a great campsite, especially if you're into music and like to have free space to pitch. The Orchard is amazing but you do need to like life around you and I don't mean the wildlife type. Great for big groups. The Barn / club has amazing lighting (lasers) and sound system & a sand dance area + a heated swimming pool with fire pits. The restaurant does fantastic pizza / food with Tuscany vibe, lovely helpful staff and decent showers / toilets.

This campsite was excellent. The facilities were clean and well maintained. I was on a tent pitch, the ground was nice and flat, the grass was well maintained and more importantly the view of the surrounding mountain scape is beautiful and clear! Sunset is particularly stunning. I will be coming back again!

Really nice campsite with facilities and a nice shady setting for tents in the orchard. Good to see the historic farming equipment and birds in the tree were excitable! Just have to be careful of large tractors going up and down the lane.

Beautiful, well kept campsite with plenty of space for everyone to pitch where they like and for ball games in the middle of the field. Very cute and tame piglets, lambs, chickens and goats wander around which my kids loved. My youngest got to bottlefeed the newborns which he was delighted with.
Morag was a welcoming host and we were able to borrow some forgotten pans and cooking equipment.
Being able to collect our own firewood (which was plentiful) from the wooded area was a bonus as most campsites charge a small fortune for logs. We never had to wait long for a shower or the loo and they were always pretty clean.
We stayed during a heatwave so having the river so close by was fantastic. Kids were in and out all day playing on the boats.
We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend.

Lovely campsite with sea views and really nice clean toilets and shower facilities. The showers were lovely and hot as well!
The campsite is in a great location- 10 minutes walk to the beach and the same to the centre of the village with lots of lovely pubs and shops.

Went here with our 2 year old and honestly it was brilliant. Worth knowing going in that it's a proper working farm - animals roam around freely and yes there's the odd bit of poo on the grass, but that's all part of it and our little one absolutely loved seeing piglets just wandering past the tent.
The river was the highlight for us. It's a protected chalk stream so the water is crystal clear and really shallow - perfect for a toddler to just potter around in for hours. There are little boats to mess about with and we even spotted crayfish in there, the water is that clean.
Firepits are dotted all over the site and free to use, just bring your own charcoal. Really nice in the evenings.
In the mornings you can go collect eggs straight from the hens yourself which our son found fascinating. There's also forest school and organised animal activities which are a lovely touch.
Morag is a really warm host. We'll definitely be back.

Beautiful small, quiet campsite, set in picturesque countryside. Perfect for families or couples looking to unwind. The communal shower and toilet facilities are modern, well maintained and clean. You can charge your phone's and power banks up in the facilities building too. There is a cafe on site too.
The friendly campsite warden was particularly helpful. We only stayed one night on this occasion but we'll probably use this site for longer stays in the future

The site was busy when we stayed (a very warm bank holiday weekend) but it didn’t feel crowded and the rules on noise etc. were well respected so we had a great time.

The views are beautiful , cafe/shop is quite old fashioned , not lots in there so would travel further out for food.
The toilet/wash area was very clean and cute looking! Overall I will definitely go again! :)
