A very nice campground for a
We looked for a quiet and clean campground. Yes, indeed, we found one at David and Cora's ground. Our space was lange enough for the sanitary installations are super nicht extra clean. Dave is very friendly and he is helping where ever he can. The short walkway to the sea is a nice add on. Next time again we had a great time and extend our stay for an other night.

Clean and Quiet
Cora and Dave are super hosts! You can tell their campground and customer satisfaction are their top priority. The grounds are neat and manicured. The bathrooms are spotless and the showers are great with lots of hot water. This is a must stay if you are in the area.

Loved it!
We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! The bathrooms were clean, campsite had enough space, not terribly far from Charlottetown and the costumer service was excellent! I’d recommend Summer Winds to anyone visiting the island.

Very peaceful, lovely campsite! We enjoyed walking along the water - even saw a fox early in the morning! Wish we had more time to explore the area…. Next time.

We loved our stay, wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived late in the day and they left a welcoming note with instructions for us on the office door. Beautiful grounds with the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen at a campground! Everything was accessible and very well maintained. Would absolutely stay there again!

Upon arrival, we were met by Cora. We had the choice of site (out of season) and enjoyed the time spent there. We were given helpful information about where to eat, gas and buy liquor :)

Family friendly and private
Overall great stay! The campsites are very close together but we only ran into 2 other families staying there during our 3 day stay, so it felt relatively private. It's a family friendly location with beautiful private bathrooms and showers as well as right by the water (it felt like our own private beach with crystal clear water, red sand, and sea shells). There was also a small playground although we never quite ended up there. Note that the gravel pathways are not lit up at night (this was totally fine for us), bathrooms/ showers have a ramp for wheelchairs/ strollers but a bit of a bump and squish to get into the door. Would have loved if there was a changing table for babies.
Overall it was kind of chilly at night when we went mid august but we saw a full sky of stars. Bring a tent cover as the dew is heavy and you'll be wet in the morning.
David was awesome, he met us really late at night (we were late to arrive), gave us instructions and brought us firewood to our site (at no charge, although I believe it's usually about 7$). In terms of the area, we ended up in Charlottetown a lot so next time we will likely stay close to there as it seemed to be the centre, we felt there was not too much to do in Georgetown although I'm sure there are some more gorgeous beaches nearby and our research wasn't thorough. Hosts were very communicative through Hipcamp and we really enjoyed our stay. I might be wrong but it looked like they were building a pool too 😍

Peaceful Retreat Near Georgetown
We loved our stay at this peaceful, private campsite. With water and electricity on-site, plus spotless washrooms, it offered all the comforts we needed. Georgetown is just a short drive away, where we enjoyed a great meal with stunning sunset views by the water.
The location is perfect—40 minutes to Charlottetown and 35 minutes to the hidden gem of Lakeside Beach. It's also dog-friendly, which was a huge bonus for us. A fantastic spot for a relaxing getaway!

Great spot to stay!
I loved the site and the entire property. Beautiful sunsets, calm private bay and gorgeous water views are the must. Washrooms and showers available and clean. My full hookup services worked like a charm. Everyone at the campsite is kind and approachable. I super recommend this site.

Waw!!!
I loved this camp ground! First of all, the owners (I only saw David) are amazing. They are always available and very friendly. The beach was great, we did some paddle boarding and kayaking. As everyone else said, the bathrooms are cleaned every day (even more), which makes the whole experience when taking a shower. Fire wood is available at the campsite. I would 100% recommend to anyone visiting close by.

What a lovely surprise! Camp sites were neat and convenient with beautiful bathroom facilities (very important to us). They were still building and adding more facilities which we totally understand and can't wait to see it next year

I loved the camping site of Cora and David. They are very nice and welcoming people. I got to talk to David and he is such a nice host. They are willing to accommodate your needs.
We only stayed for one night but it was a quiet and amazing place whether just to camp or stay overnight. During our short stay, we were able to visit the nearby beach, which is just a coupe of minutes away from the camp. The washrooms are clean and the campsite is very well maintained.
Also, the location is easy to find.

Nice!
Nice little site with a picknic table, firepit, showers and toilets nearby, only 5 minutes from North Rustico and 10 min from Cavendish.

Relaxing!
Great campground! Quiet, peaceful, campsites were on grass, not gravel. Owners were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed staying here. If you're looking for a place to get away, to rest and relax, this is it.

The campground is very nice. All the facilities are clean and well cared for. The beach is amazing. The owners are great and they really care about your experience . The only thing I think could be improved is the size of the two service sites they are pretty close together. I can highly recommend this campground.

Wonderful stay
The owners were very welcoming and helpful. It was clear they really take a lot of pride in the place. The grounds are well kept and clean. My husband’s comment… “the showers alone were worth the site fees”.
It was a great location to visit local towns and beaches.

We absolutely loved our stay!!
David & Cora are amazing hosts and went above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. Super easy communication in advance and at the campground itself.
We ended up staying at site 15 to fit our camper trailer better. We loved the calmness and layed back lifestyle. Very dog friendly as well. The campground is well maintained and the RV hookups are new and in great condition. The individual bathrooms are the best ones we had on our trip!! They have a toilet and a shower each, were very clean, the showers are nice and big and the water is warms up quickly.
We enjoyed walking around the beach, which is connected to the property, and get to an access point where you can swim. There’s also a little pond which runs into the ocean.
If we’re ever back in PEI we will surely stay here again. Thank you David & Cora, we had an amzing time!!

What an amazing place!
We can't say enough how amazing our week long camping stay was with Dave and Cora! They are such kind and generous hosts, the campground was laid out thoughtfully and is well maintained, and our kids and dog loved the beach which was a short walk from our campsite. The bathrooms/showers were by far the best I've ever seen at a camp ground. So nice and kept very clean! We were amazed!!! Wow!!
I would so highly recommend Cora and David's place to anyone traveling on PEI. They are amazing folks and run such a beautiful and wonderful campground outside of Georgetown. We made some wonderful family memories here and we are already looking forward to our next visit!
