The Red Fox Campground is located on the Green Gables Region, right next to the Prince Edward National Park. We have 25 spacious sites for Tents, Rv’s and Glamping tents. Each site have electricity and water near by. The campground has treed areas to camp and hang hammocks and beautiful gardens with fully equipped glamping tents. We are a pet friendly campground and there is free wifi and hot showers. The campground is 4 minutes drive from The National Park where you can enjoy beautiful beaches like Brackley and Stanhope. The trail of the famous Island Walk is less than a km away as well as the path of the Confederation Trail. We are few kilometres from the beautiful picturesque town North Rustico and a 17 min drive to Cavendish, famous for their Music Festivals. Welcome to the homestead! This property is heaven on earth. A gorgeous 3 acre, pet friendly (a livestock guardian dog is present on the property) this hidden paradise is a 5 minute walk to a quiet beach, or a 10 minute drive to the beautiful, public Cabot beach. The property includes an array of solar panels, a greenhouse and garden, as well as a large barn, and smaller coop housing over 50 beautiful white chantecler chickens (the best natural alarm clock)! Many varities of plants and trees provide privacy, shade as well as a lovely view. Enjoy a quiet walk down the dirt road (maybe find a geocache) and enjoy your stay on our little piece of heaven!

We would have preferred a spot that was easier to maneuver BUT it was exactly as the pictures showed. We have 2 beagles and we worried that other campers might not be as fond of their songs as we are. But by quiet time (11pm) they were settled in. The ONLY unfortunate part of our stay was the large group of young people who didn't start drinking until after 11. At 230, my wife screamed, "Go to bed!" One of them yelled, "Sorry." But it still went on until after 3. They got our dogs and at least one other barking. Except for that one group, the campground was quiet after 11, and earlier, i dont think we hear a single loud voice. If there were dogs besides ours and the one we were travelling with, we never heard them. Better control of the 11pm quiet time is the only suggestion I have. Paula was a wonderful host and the campground is beautiful. Coyotes were in full song just as we were going to bed. The bathroom facilities were probably the nicest and cleanest that we've ever seen at a campground.

Tent sight was great, could use a couple more trees and shrubs in between. Bathrooms were lovely and always clean and the beach was gorgeous!

Great, quiet small campground. Bring a 30 A plug for the electric or borrow one from the front office. Great pool area. Staff provided a map of local highlights in the Gerogetown area. Very clean newish shower building with large stalls and very hot water.

We absolutely loved camping at Summer Winds with our tent trailer! The beach and the pool were great and clean, as well as exceptionally clean spacious bathrooms. We were greeted on arrival with a friendly welcome who answered all our questions. Such a lovely calm atmosphere, we will surely be back next year.

Wonderful spot to camp, grass/soft ground was really nice for tenting. Inground pool was very clean, kids loved it. Location was quiet, great shower and washroom facilities. Very close to many amazing beaches and not far from Charlottetown which is a fantastic city.

Summer Winds was a well laid out campground with lots of exploring allowed at both the property and area. Located about 40 minutes from Charlottetown made a fun afternoon trip. Our kids loved the fact that our spot (#19) was facing the playground and the saltwater pool was a huge hit. Washroom and showers were kept clean and comfortable— the water was hot! Everyone we spoke to was friendly and inviting making it a spot we will have to return to one day. Thanks for hosting!
