We would have preferred a spot that was easier to maneuver BUT it was exactly as the pictures showed. We have 2 beagles and we worried that other campers might not be as fond of their songs as we are. But by quiet time (11pm) they were settled in. The ONLY unfortunate part of our stay was the large group of young people who didn't start drinking until after 11. At 230, my wife screamed, "Go to bed!" One of them yelled, "Sorry." But it still went on until after 3. They got our dogs and at least one other barking. Except for that one group, the campground was quiet after 11, and earlier, i dont think we hear a single loud voice. If there were dogs besides ours and the one we were travelling with, we never heard them. Better control of the 11pm quiet time is the only suggestion I have. Paula was a wonderful host and the campground is beautiful. Coyotes were in full song just as we were going to bed. The bathroom facilities were probably the nicest and cleanest that we've ever seen at a campground.

Paula was a generous and exemplary campground host. The campground was clearly well cared for and there were many repeat campers. The bathrooms were the best campground bathrooms ever!

The bathrooms were great and very close to the sites. The area was quiet and the staff helpful. I plan to return next year for Cavendish Beach Music Festival. Only thing I suggest is to the people coming in if you are tenting in the trees bring extra blankets cause even though it’s summer you’re gonna need em.

The Red Fox is a picturesque, beautiful and relatively new campground with thoughtfully designed facilities, campites, and materials. The owner, Paula, is an artist with a great eye for aesthetics which is readily apparent everyhere. She's also a fun person who talk with who has lived and traveled around the world. We really enjoyed sharing travel stories with her.

Was a perfect home away from home for the weekend. Was quaint and welcoming. We had a great spot for a hammock where we were camping and it kept us shaded all day!

The Red Fox Campground is lovely! It is well laid out with a combination of tenting sites, glamping tents, and many RV sites with electric and water hookups. The tenting sites under the pines are especially magical at night due to the strings of 'star' lights hung through the area. Paula is also extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area.

Absolutely lovely place to stay!! The campground is beautiful, each lot has an electric outlet, and the bathrooms are perfect (toilets + showers with hot water). It’s a drivable distance from Charlottetown, and the host is very welcoming & responsive.

Absolutely beautiful campground!!! The setting in the trees was simply lovely and serene!!! The central location made it very convenient to all points of the Island!!! Bathrooms were clean and the owner, Paula, was friendly, helpful and quickly available for whatever was needed!!! I would highly recommend this campground to anyone visiting PEI!!!

We had a great time at Paula's Red Fox Campground. She's a delightful person. Her campground is centrally located and quite unique. Pine trees shaded our level site, with all sites close to the cleanest, most modern restrooms we've ever experienced camping. There's a double dish-washing station with plenty of hot water, a large mown field for dog-walking, and fire pits for hanging out at night and roasting marshmallows. Highly recommend!

Red Fox campground is in a beautiful spot on the north shore of PEI! Paula and her partner are FANTASTIC hosts, and have a lovely campground with amazing facilities. The bathrooms and showers were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The communal fire put area is a really cool feature as well. Paula was so gracious in recommending a beautiful place to take my wife for her 50th birthday dinner!

Quiet campground. Many of the sites are nestled under trees. Clean and private restrooms. Great location for exploring most of PEI. I like that they cater to overnight camping rather than seasonal residents.
Important note: This campground charges $20 for campers to use the dump station. This was not disclosed in the listing at the time when we booked. If we had known, we would have stayed at a different nearby campground as this was already one of the most expensive campgrounds we stayed in during our 5 week trip. The dump station also does not include a hose for rinsing. I kind of expected more amenities for the price.

My family and I really enjoyed this campsite. We had a comfortable place to camp and enjoyed the luxurious showers after a long journey from Ontario. Paula was an exceptional host, who greeted us warmly upon our arrival. I would highly recommend this location.

The campsite was so good! During night time was so quite you can sleep like a baby . The washroom is very clean and huge. Highly recommended. Paula is very nice and accommodating. Deserved 5 star ⭐️ 😝😜.

Paula is a pro camper and has set up the ideal camp with new, clean facilities, fire pits, character and everything you want. Tent sites are fairly close together and do not offer privacy/seclusion. Location is central and ideal for touring PEI, but not close to anything in particular (except Brackley Bay Oyster Co and Richard's, both must-stops on the island). Makes a great base-of-operations, but wouldn't necessarily 'hang out' there more than to eat and sleep.

Great sites tucked away from noise . Great place to relax and take a walk . Close enough to shopping restaurants by car . Great prices . Paula was easy to talk to and friendly . I would highly recommend this place . It’s down to earth try relaxing camping (lovely glamping Tents ) not the commercialized with over priced tourist shops .

Excellent camp site! The washrooms were top notch, large sites and location was central to our needs. For those who enjoy the stars the location on a cleAr night gives a view of the galaxy. The administrators were very thoughtful and offered great tips for newcomers! Would stay here again.
