This property has two buildings for rent. One is called the Sweet Suite and the other is called Easy Street.
The Sweet Suite contains a 3/4 bed and a pull out couch. There is a sink and a toilet. A deck with chairs and a two burner butane camp stove. It is ideal for two people or three if close or family.
Easy Street has a futon, A screened in area and an outside deck. There is a closed in flush toilet beside the building. It has a magnificent view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence including beach and capes. It is ideal for a couple or two people who don't mind being close.
There is an outside shower and courtyard to service both buildings. The courtyard has a table and chairs, BBQ that guests are welcome to use. Also at the courtyard is an outside kitchen with running hot and cold water, a pizza oven, a small bar fridge for each cabin, all cooking equipment required i.e pots, pans, utensils, plates.
Guests will have access to a set of stairs that lead to the water.
This is an off the grid property. The electricity is fueled by solar panels into batteries. Internet is available. There is a washing machine and a clothes line.
If you are the least bit uptight and need everything to be perfect this property is not for you. Ruth lives on the property in a separate building and is excited to share the beauty with like minded, appreciative people.

Escape to a simple off-grid bunkie tucked into the woods on a private oceanfront property in southeastern Prince Edward Island.
This is a peaceful place to unplug, slow down, and enjoy nature. A short woodland trail leads to a quiet sandy beach that’s perfect for walking, swimming, beachcombing, or watching the sunrise.
The bunkie is compact but comfortable, with a queen bed, small kitchenette, seating area, solar power, Starlink Wi-Fi, and a private bathroom with a shower and composting toilet. Outside you’ll find a deck overlooking the forest and a vintage clawfoot outdoor tub with hot and cold water.
Please note that this is an off-grid accommodation. Power comes from solar, so guests are asked to be mindful of electricity use. The setting is rustic rather than luxurious, and you’ll likely encounter birds, frogs, rabbits, foxes, and other local wildlife. Mosquitoes can also be part of the experience at certain times of year, so bringing insect repellent is recommended.
If you’re looking for polished resort accommodations, this probably isn’t the right fit. But if you enjoy quiet mornings, star-filled skies, the sound of the ocean, and the feeling of having your own little corner of the woods, we think you’ll love it.
We’re continually improving the property, and we’d be delighted to welcome guests who appreciate simple, peaceful places surrounded by nature.
Raised bed veggie garden onsite to pick fresh vegetables or use our equipment to walk the beach and dig for clams, then pop into the nearby vineyard/winery to sample local wines.
We are just a few minutes from the Wood Islands visitor center, local seafood restaurants, candy/ice cream store and liquor store, and an award winning Vineyard. We are a five minute drive from the Wood Islands ferry to Nova Scotia.

What a great professional campsite! We were greeted well and given instructions how to get to our campiste. The site was on the smaller side but enough to fit our SUV and a tent and had water and firepit. The bathrooms were SPECTACUALR clean new and showers looked great. Walked to their beach also very lovely and you can even take out a canoe. For sure can safely recommend!

Super friendly owners/hosts. Really appreciate the showers that are fully enclosed and have a bench and enough space outside the shower to dry off and dress. Appreciate the laundry facilities, and we enjoyed the pool as well. We were in the serviced tent sites, which have no shade or privacy, so it wasn't necessarily our favorite place to just hang out, but we were busy exploring all the beautiful sites nearby anyway! And there are lots - this campground provides great access to a number of excellent spots in central and western PEI.

What a lovely camping spot, showers/bathrooms were such a great touch. My husband, daughter and I had a fantastic time. We’re right by the water and other fantastic sites. Hardly any bugs late August. Happy to stay somewhere that is pet friendly and the hosts are far too kind.
We left early due to rain but will definitely be back in the future, hoping to book a cottage! Thank you again Cora and David.

We had such a great time! This campground was perfect for our family. A nice short walk to the Cardigan Bay. We read reviews commenting on the lights from the bathroom but we didn’t find them bothersome at all! We cannot wait to go back!

The campground is right on the water and we enjoyed a tent site right on the water's edge. Very restful and quiet, so quiet that we could hear the tide coming in during the night.
Washrooms were clean and although we didn't use it, the laundry room was attached.
Coffee in the office was available when we woke up.
A bonus was being close to Victoria by the Sea!

The hosts were great. Excellent location close to Cavendish & North Rustico. Showers and bathrooms were clean. Laundry worked fine. Campsites with power were open which was fine with us b/c our van has an awning. Would definitely stay here again.

My family of 6 really enjoyed our stay at Summer Winds. The camping sites are cozy and close to neighbors, but there is ample green space across from the sites. We loved having both beach access (lots of crab hunting) and the amazing pool, plus a small pond. It is very family-friendly with lots of space for kids to run or bike.
The bathrooms are super clean and there is wifi as well. You can buy firewood at the office and the town of Georgetown is just a quick ride down the road for ice and other basics.
We hope to come back again and check out the cottages!

It was a lovely campsite with secluded tent sites. The bathrooms were clean. We loved the fact that the showers had a closed of shower part, a bench and some shelves. Very comfortable and no wet clothes or shoes when you are done showering.

Beautiful site! Super close to Green Gables sites but also lovely views just hanging out at the site. They were able to help me out with borrowing a 30v adaptor after I forgot mine at home. One thing to keep in mind is PEI has a lot of clay so consider that for your tent posts. I didn't realize the Canafian Maritimes had the reputation of being the friendliest folk but I can confirm Red Rock Campground is no exception. I'd happily stay here again.
