Murphys Point Ranch is located 3 miles from historic downtown Nampa located in the heart of the Treasure Valley. MPR is a small pocket farm that started with a Lab and a few chickens. The Alpaca herd has grown this summer with the first baby of the season born in June. There are 14 total with 3 babies. We have fresh pasture raised eggs for sale from the 30+ chickens.
Meeting the animals and farm tours can be arranged in advance.
Our 4.5-acre farm has been transitioned into a sustainable Idaho farm and is 100% solar powered, including one of the first electric tractors in the state.
Wilson Springs Pond is half a block down the road. This 55 acre nature area offers many walking paths and is home to many birds, both resident and migratory. It is also a popular urban fishing destination.
1. RV's must be in good shape and fully functioning. NO Car or MiniVan Camping.
2. Pets are NOT ALLOWED for their safety and that of the animals. Dogs are prey animals in the eyes of an Alpaca and they will kill a dog if it gets too close.

The property used to be for seasonal farm workers in the area but now have long term tenants.
You will find a couple manufactured homes and a house, and all who live there are very friendly and have lived on the property for many years.
The guy who lives in the house repairs RV's and sells them. You won't find anything fancy here just a functional space with nice neighbors.

Our horses and dogs are available for petting/grooming should you not have any. Fire pit, outhouse, BBQ and picnic table is onsite. Freeway noise an issue for some.

Great spot close to Boise but felt like we were in the country. Grandkids loved playing by the pond. We went in October so water was low in the pond and beach was muddy in places but kids had a ball and mud washes off. We liked The Willows campsite by the willow tree. Loved listening to the little creek that runs behind that site. Driveway to campground has quite a slope but we had no trouble driving our 27’ rv back up. Woke up to see cows in the pasture behind the campground. Also saw two cranes.

My son and I spent two days at Cagle Cove, The Aspens site and had a great time. We are definitely going back. It feels very secluded. You hear some birds, occasional cow and some roosters in the morning. The sites are spacious and very clean. The ground is flat with no rocks or roots to worry about, so tent placement is quick and easy. We were in a 3-person tent with a 10x10 canopy and even had room for our Yukon XL. The owners kept a fresh stockpile of firewood they sell for $5 a bundle, and these logs are big, they’re dry and burn quite a long time. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway to recharge, get a good nights rest, cook over a campfire, and see a sky full of stars, this is the place. You can splurge and bring the good steak, because this place is a deal.

The finest high desert in Idaho lies in it’s southwest corner at Owyhee Field Office, a land of rugged canyons, the wildest beast, and white water rivers. If you’re looking for solitude you’ll find it hiking Jump Creek Falls where you’ll meander among red osier dogwoods along the Owyhee River. The “Grand Canyon of the Owyhee” will delight you with it’s steep canyon faces, and provides ample opportunities for fly fishing, wildflower frolicking, and some of the best rafting in the state. Class II-V rapids are in high demand in the spring when the water is at it’s finest! There’s tons of off-roading at Hemingway Butte and Rabbit Creek and you’ll find yourself in camping heaven in one of Owyhee’s campgrounds. One campground even includes a partially restored mining town. Discovery and fine times await even the wildest of explorers at Owyhee.
