We share our backyard with our guests, we are very close to everything that Bruce county has to offer, port Elgin, Southampton, golf courses, different accesses to saugeen river where u can go fishing canoeing, tubing etc., supermarkets, native reserve, sauble beach and dozens of other ones…all at max 15 minutes distance… in the property you will find everything u need for a peaceful stay, hard to describe everything you will find but u can read our reviews, some of them have beautiful descriptions of what is here for you, you must love animals, since we have our pets all around, u are also super welcome to bring yours. One of the high points of here is the interaction u will have with the pets, they are all super friendly and will play with u every time they see u, they believe u r here for them, between, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc they will be part of your stay, this is theyr home, u r theyr guests, that’s how they think, so u must be a pet lover. With three large windows, a dome skylight, and wool felt insulation, the yurt provides a wonderful "glamping" experience. Heavens Acres has been a stop over since the 1850's for people travelling by horse from Toronto to Owen Sound. We have 100 acres surrounded by another 200 acres of conservation land. There is camping in the pine forest as well at the very back of the property where you will find a hardwood bush with trails. Please note that the hipcamp map shows a large body of water on the property, as does google driving maps. It is a marsh, not a lake. Google Earth shows it better. There is however, a creek and pond, but don't bring your boat. :) This is a "LEAVE NO TRACE" campsite, so please take all garbage when you leave. There is no water or power, but there is an outhouse Please note that in the winter months. There’s a $25 surcharge. This is required for snow removal to access the sites that are at at least 1 km into the bush. We are in a snow belt area and it is very difficult to keep the sites open in the winter. Four-wheel-drive is required for access in the winter!

Weekend Trip to Cozy Forest Dome

We had an amazing experience at the Forest Dome. It was absolutely beautiful and so romantic. The dome was cozy and warm, and every detail was thoughtfully done — from the art sculptures and gorgeous wooden floors to the large window overlooking the snow-covered trees. It truly felt perfect. Fran was a kind and helpful host, which made our stay even better. The whole experience was so serene and restorative — it really resets your soul. We would definitely stay here again.

The space and property are so beautiful, the trails are very well maintained and Susan and Brent are super friendly and awesome! They gifted me some honey from the bees they keep and it was delicious. I was very warm and cozy at night during my stay. The land is huge and I had such a fun time snowshoeing and walking around. There are lots of birdwatching spots, especially by the water. I will definitely be back again when the weather is warmer. I highly recommend staying here, I'm sure you'll love it as much as I did!

This was such an amazing experience. We brought our little baby in -25 and it was so cozy in the cabin!! The property is absolutely gorgeous, amazing trails to explore. The hosts are so incredible and attentive. Our propane ran out our second night and Susan answered me within 1 minute and came out to replace it immediately! The wood for 15$ is a steal! We will 100% be coming back. Absolutely incredible. Thank you for having us!! ❤️

This was an amazing stay. First, it was extremely last minute as we booked it 15 minutes before showing up. Despite that, Joan was very accommodating and set us up right away. It was a nice basement unit with everything we needed included heated floors in the bathroom. The property itself was also beautiful - though we didn’t see a lot of since it was winter. Second time here in winter, and Susan and Brent's land is so enchanting! The A-frame was cozy. I did bring piles and piles of fleece blankets this time to keep off the chill :) but their propane heater works wonders. The second night was clear skies and a stunning moon to bbq by the light of. My dog loved running along the trails left by their ATV. I cannot recommend this place enough. The hosts are so friendly and helpful. I will definitely have to visit in the summer. Thank you!

We went winter camping in the A Frame. The hosts Sue and Brent went out of their way to make are stay exceptional. We were very warm and cozy. Loved the trails and winter fires. The property is dog friendly and our dog Whitney loved it. Definitely lots of exploring. We felt so relaxed. The pond was beautiful too. Hiking the trails was very enjoyable. Lots of trees and the beautiful skies lite up by the moon at night.

The beautiful serenity of Sue and Brent’s camp we stayed in the A frame so warm and cozy. We had beautiful fires in the winter nights. Our dog Whitney ran free and loved the winter trails. Brent and Sue are great host highly recommend this camp for families. The property offers lots of beautiful surprises a pond and spring fed stream. We hiked , spent our days and nights outside and played with our dog, the cabin is warm with a propane heater. . We will definitely plan another winter weekend. What a great winter experience. We loved our winter stay at Natalie’s cabin. There was plenty of snowfall but barely any wind making for breathtaking scenery. Parking was cleared of snow as well as pathways to the cabin and the outhouse. The cabin was the perfect size for a couple like us and warmed up quickly with the wood stove. We requested additional firewood and it was delivered promptly and was a generous amount for the price. Overall the stay was incredibly peaceful and quiet, very few cars on the road to the property. While the cabin is close to the road it is tucked nicely back and is still very private. We would absolutely stay again if we have the chance.

We went during winter so didn’t get to fully enjoy the outdoors but site is really private and place next to it is definitely a nice touch. The cabin is a little small but it’s new and built nicely. Washroom was clean and built nice aswell Rick had been great at communication and made sure snow path was clear for us to get in and out.

Weekend Trip to Heavens Acres

The perfect place to stay for a remote escape. The sky out here will make you want to come back for more! The Amish built cabin is perfectly insulated, and even in -15 windy weather I was warm and cozy thanks to the wood burning camping stove. Rick is a great host! Highly recommend.

We planned on staying in the plane one night and the cabin the next, but the plane was so cozy we stayed in it both nights. The property is gorgeous and private. We spent the day wandering through the woods, and night by the fire. Exceptionally well taken care of property was exactly what we were looking for for a weekend getaway.

2 nights at Pinehaven Camping And Cabin

We had a great time staying at Camp Kyle. Natalie was very friendly and inviting. The Cabin and outhouse were very clean. There was an outdoor kitchen available with propane burners/grill. Great for heating up or making a meal. A large fire pit and plenty of outdoor space surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The wood stove inside the cabin was a perfect addition as we were able to stay warm during the night. Thank you for sharing your land with us.

3 nights at Stillwater Bunkie and RV Site

Our visit to the Stillwater Bunkie was a great few days! We had private access to a lake, a well-maintained firepit and composting toilet, and a cozy bunkie. Despite being out at the Bunkie in mid-November, we were able to keep very warm inside the Bunkie with the wood burning stove and the provided propane heater. The Bunkie and property came stocked with lots of thoughtful supplies (ex some basic dishes and cutlery, water for washing dishes and 4L of drinkable water per day, blankets, pillows, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, BBQ, firewood, marshmallow roasting sticks, axe, etc). The sofa bed and loft bed were very comfortable! The use of the fridge in their garage and a portable power station in the Bunkie are huge bonuses that many other listings don't provide. The listing mentioned an outdoor shower which we thought would be working but wasn't connected. Not a big deal for a few days but it definitely changed how we planned to keep clean and fresh. Colin was very easily accessible via messaging on this app and was quick to provide any extra supplies we required during our stay (for example, a garbage bin as listed in their welcome/info binder provided inside the Bunkie). Overall, we enjoyed our time out at the Stillwater Bunkie and I would recommend it to others! See
