With three large windows, a dome skylight, and wool felt insulation, the yurt provides a wonderful "glamping" experience. There is a double bed and a single bed in the yurt along with a cooler, table, chairs, and storage space. In the future there will be solar power, but right now the lighting available is by a battery powered lantern (provided). Next to the yurt is a picnic table, fire pit, and a sawdust toilet. There are basic utensils, plates, bowls, pots and pans available in the yurt. Bring your own: camp stove, water, bedding, pillows Important to Note: The only heating source is a wood stove. We share our backyard with our guests, we are very close to everything that Bruce county has to offer, port Elgin, Southampton, golf courses, different accesses to saugeen river where u can go fishing canoeing, tubing etc., supermarkets, native reserve, sauble beach and dozens of other ones…all at max 15 minutes distance… in the property you will find everything u need for a peaceful stay, hard to describe everything you will find but u can read our reviews, some of them have beautiful descriptions of what is here for you, you must love animals, since we have our pets all around, u are also super welcome to bring yours. One of the high points of here is the interaction u will have with the pets, they are all super friendly and will play with u every time they see u, they believe u r here for them, between, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits etc they will be part of your stay, this is theyr home, u r theyr guests, that’s how they think, so u must be a pet lover. Weekend Trip to Pinehaven Camping And Cabin

We had an amazing experience at this cabin with my friends. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. One of our favourite parts was the large gazebo , even when it rained, we were able to sit comfortably underneath and enjoy our breakfast without any issues. The location was also very easy to find, with clear and straightforward directions. Honestly, if I ever plan another camping trip or want a cozy cabin getaway, I would most likely choose this place again.Another thing that really stood out for us was the privacy. We didn’t see any cars or people around at all, which gave the place a true “deep in the forest” vibe. It was peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. Big thanks to the hosts for such a great experience!

This was the perfect little get away. We stopped on a weekend trip to towards Tobermory. The cabin is so cute and surrounded by quiet nature. We loved staying at the cozy yurt in the woods. Emily has thought of all of the basic needs, and when we had a bunch of rain, there were tons of games go play inside. The wood stove keeps everything nice and toasty! There is a beautiful river right behind the yurt making the experience even more enjoyable. The outhouse was clean and fully stocked. This place was perfect to destress and reset Check it out! You won't be disappointed!

We loved our winter stay at Natalie’s cabin. There was plenty of snowfall but barely any wind making for breathtaking scenery. Parking was cleared of snow as well as pathways to the cabin and the outhouse. The cabin was the perfect size for a couple like us and warmed up quickly with the wood stove. We requested additional firewood and it was delivered promptly and was a generous amount for the price. Overall the stay was incredibly peaceful and quiet, very few cars on the road to the property. While the cabin is close to the road it is tucked nicely back and is still very private. We would absolutely stay again if we have the chance.

We had a great time staying at Camp Kyle. Natalie was very friendly and inviting. The Cabin and outhouse were very clean. There was an outdoor kitchen available with propane burners/grill. Great for heating up or making a meal. A large fire pit and plenty of outdoor space surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The wood stove inside the cabin was a perfect addition as we were able to stay warm during the night. Thank you for sharing your land with us.

My partner and I stayed at Emily’s Yurt this past thanksgiving weekend 2025 as a last minute booking. Emily accommodated our stay and was very quick to respond. The yurt was stunning, we’ve stayed at many hip camps and this was by far the best experience. From a eco friendly outhouse with a wood chip system, very clean and well stocked with necessities. The yurt had all supplies needed, along with many games and other activities to do. Can’t thank Emily enough for sharing her beautiful property and being so welcoming.

What a great little get away. Comfortable and the hosts are pretty awesome. They give you all the privacy you need and wood was cut and ready to burn for a camp fire. I would recommend anyone who is looking to go

Weekend Trip to R&R Back Road Country Retreat

Renee & Randy your property is beautiful. We loved walking all your trails with our dogs. The thought you both put in to the little details like the dog library was so cute. The sunsets were gorgeous and we loved sitting on the floating dock every morning to drink our coffee. If anyone is looking for a get away weekend to disconnect this is the place to go!

Weekend Trip to Yurt at Paisley Mill

The yurt was such a relaxing and peaceful place to stay! It is well stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, cups, games, firewood and all the little things in between. :) The sound of the river at night was magical. We are already looking forward to going back again.
