As private as private gets but only 6 miles to Newport Vt. There is a creek and a one acre pond (20 feet deep). It is all mixed hard and softwoods. It has some magnificent old growth trees 100 foot tall. There is a good rd that my friend has used with his Lincoln. Most any vehicle (car or Pickup)can get to the site. It gets a little tricky if you are pulling a trailer. A small one is OK but a large one - not so much....... The rd goes 1/2 mile to the rear of the land. Moose, deer and other critters visit too. We live 1/2 mile away from where you enter the woodlot. Our house is on Brownington Pond (200+ acres) & campers can use this site for swimming, boating & fishing. For more info call 863220 5881 Excellent drinking water is available from the hose at our house.

Hello, this Cedar Cabin is located on a private Dead End Road with direct ATV access from the cabin, this area is also known for great Wildlife moose, deer and much more. 10 minutes from the camp location is little diamond and big diamond pond, great fishing and kayaking. The property is equipped with an outdoor kitchen, gazebo with fire pit in the center, firewood bins full for purchase as an add on through hip camp, two kayaks with life vest no extra charge to use them just make sure that after they have been used they are rinsed off and put back into the original placement. property has power a functional toilet in the cabin along with a shower, also there is a Porter potty insert outhouse. There are three beds inside the cabin, bunk bed with a full size on the bottom twin on the top and a futon couch ***bring your own bedding, towels washcloths, paper products, plates, silverware** This Camp is rented through an honor system and because I rent it this way it saves you money by not paying all the cleaning fees like Airbnb, but you must leave the camp in the condition you found it or better taking anything brought to the property away ** especially trash or anything in the refrigerators** at your departure date. Fitch Bay is only a 5-minute drive and there are pontoon rides available. We have breathtaking views all over our property and the history of the land is rich. We even have a covered bridge for you to explore.

Enjoy camping here in this original 1991 fifth wheel that's been lightly redecorated. There's a full kitchen, grill, outdoor dining area, tv/DVD for movies or streaming, and a firepit with wood!
Typical camper bathroom with a decent sized shower, indoor portable toilet and a new clean outdoor composting outhouse. Bring your own bedding/pillows.
The swimming pool is reooened for the 2025 season. Thankfully we were able to get a water delivery!
Also we have two beautiful lakes close to us within 5 MI, Lake Willoughby and Crystal Lake.
The Old Stone House Museum is very close by as well as lakes, hiking trails, 4 wheeler trails, kayak adventure nearby, and more.

Frank is a really nice guy and has a beautiful property. His land is tucked away deep in the woods down a dirt road. His house is on the property, but he’s got a really large lot of land with beautiful views of nearby mountains. I stayed on his property in winter, and he was super accommodating, he plowed for me, helped me pick out the best spot that would be shielded from the wind, and even provided me with an extension cord for power and some wood. I’ll definitely be back. He’s got amazing views and a very private feeling property. He even offered that I could stay in his finished lower level if I got too cold. Cool property and it’s really close to Mt Pisgah where I was doing some hikes.

3 nights at Camp whiskey throttle
Anthony's venue made one of the most memorable trips possible for my friends and I, as we made space away from our day jobs.
The camp is remote, scenic, and close by to most necessary resources (there is a LaPerle's market a few minutes drive away with everything we could imagine!). Additionally, there is a beautiful waterfall just 15-20 minutes away called Beaver Brook Falls with small trails and picnic benches.
Despite NH being on drought warning and our group not being able to enjoy a campfire, we felt no setbacks in our plans. On top of this, Anthony provided excellent turnaround in communications and incredibly gracious accommodations.
Excellent camp, even more amazing host. I would recommend this hipcamp 1000/10!

Weekend Trip to Camp whiskey throttle
My girlfriend and I stayed at Camp Whiskey Throttle on a nice fall weekend and had an incredible time, the camp exceeded our expectations. Great lighting at night made for a romantic trip for two, however it would also be a super fun spot to go with family or friends as well.

I was looking for a place that was in between Pittsburgh and Errol for grouse hunting. Distance wise Anthony's place was about center. It ended up being a perfect location. Its easy to get to, quiet, and well maintained. The communication with Anthony was excellent. I will 100% return when I am hunting up there again. Thank you!

This is a great little spot! You can tell a lot of love was put into it. The outdoor kitchen was our favorite thing- even in the pouring rain you could cook a good meal on the flat top and then eat it under the gazebo with a fire. It’s on a dead end road, and not a single person passed the cabin all 4 days we were there. Extremely quiet. You can ride ATVs right from camp. Everything you could possibly need is available. And the surrounding location is absolutely stunning.
The only downfall for us was the sulfur smelling water, the warm shower water only lasting 5 minutes (so for two people needing to shower after off roading in the mud, that was a little rough) then it’s cold. There were some crumbs and stains on the counters, the toilet, shower, the fridge, and toothpaste stains in the sink - but I guess that’s to expect with there being no cleaner. And that’s not the hosts fault- some campers just don’t follow the rules.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and plan on booking another trip for next year.

Loved this spot. Diane met us upon arrival, showed us everything we needed, suggested places nearby to eat, things to see and gave us our choice of spots. The sites are spacious, well maintained and some with direct access to the river. Great fishing by the way. It’s quiet, peaceful, beautiful setting and only a short walk into town. Restroom facilities are spotless. Looking forward to our next trip!

I set up my tent right next to the creek, and it was pure magic. The gentle sound of the flowing water was incredibly soothing — like nature’s lullaby through the night. The spot is basic and completely wild, but that’s exactly what makes it special. No crowds — just peace.
🌿 The ground is flat enough for a tent, with space for one or two campers. It’s only accessible by foot, which makes it feel truly remote. In the morning, I woke up to birdsong and soft sunlight filtering through the trees — such a calm and grounding way to start the day.
🌳 There are a few lovely little trails nearby, perfect for a peaceful walk through the woods. One of the highlights was the cozy riverside area with chairs and a hammock — such a perfect place to relax, read, or simply listen to the water.
🌟 A big thank-you to Paule and Benoît, who were incredibly kind and welcoming. Their generosity and good energy added a really special touch to the experience.
A little hidden gem for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy the raw beauty of nature. 💚 I’ll definitely be coming back.
