As private as private gets but only 6 miles to Newport Vt. There is a creek and a one acre pond (20 feet deep). It is all mixed hard and softwoods. It has some magnificent old growth trees 100 foot tall. There is a good rd that my friend has used with his Lincoln. Most any vehicle (car or Pickup)can get to the site. It gets a little tricky if you are pulling a trailer. A small one is OK but a large one - not so much....... The rd goes 1/2 mile to the rear of the land. Moose, deer and other critters visit too. We live 1/2 mile away from where you enter the woodlot. Our house is on Brownington Pond (200+ acres) & campers can use this site for swimming, boating & fishing. For more info call 863220 5881 Excellent drinking water is available from the hose at our house. Fires are allowed and we supply the firewood at no extra charge.

Hello, this Cedar Cabin is located on a private Dead End Road with direct ATV access from the cabin, this area is also known for great Wildlife moose, deer and much more. 10 minutes from the camp location is little diamond and big diamond pond, great fishing and kayaking. The property is equipped with an outdoor kitchen, gazebo with fire pit in the center, firewood bins full for purchase as an add on through hip camp, two kayaks with life vest no extra charge to use them just make sure that after they have been used they are rinsed off and put back into the original placement. property has power a functional toilet in the cabin along with a shower, also there is a Porter potty insert outhouse. There are three beds inside the cabin, bunk bed with a full size on the bottom twin on the top and a futon couch ***bring your own bedding, towels washcloths, paper products, plates, silverware** This Camp is rented through an honor system and because I rent it this way it saves you money by not paying all the cleaning fees like Airbnb, but you must leave the camp in the condition you found it or better taking anything brought to the property away ** especially trash or anything in the refrigerators** at your departure date. If anything inside or out was moved during your stay make sure it is placed back in its original placement, feel free to set up as many tents that will fit along with Easy Ups.

3 nights at Camp whiskey throttle

Anthony's venue made one of the most memorable trips possible for my friends and I, as we made space away from our day jobs. The camp is remote, scenic, and close by to most necessary resources (there is a LaPerle's market a few minutes drive away with everything we could imagine!). Additionally, there is a beautiful waterfall just 15-20 minutes away called Beaver Brook Falls with small trails and picnic benches. Despite NH being on drought warning and our group not being able to enjoy a campfire, we felt no setbacks in our plans. On top of this, Anthony provided excellent turnaround in communications and incredibly gracious accommodations. Excellent camp, even more amazing host. I would recommend this hipcamp 1000/10!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Camp Whiskey Throttle on a nice fall weekend and had an incredible time, the camp exceeded our expectations. Great lighting at night made for a romantic trip for two, however it would also be a super fun spot to go with family or friends as well.

I was looking for a place that was in between Pittsburgh and Errol for grouse hunting. Distance wise Anthony's place was about center. It ended up being a perfect location. Its easy to get to, quiet, and well maintained. The communication with Anthony was excellent. I will 100% return when I am hunting up there again. Thank you!

This is a great little spot! You can tell a lot of love was put into it. The outdoor kitchen was our favorite thing- even in the pouring rain you could cook a good meal on the flat top and then eat it under the gazebo with a fire. It’s on a dead end road, and not a single person passed the cabin all 4 days we were there. Extremely quiet. You can ride ATVs right from camp. Everything you could possibly need is available. And the surrounding location is absolutely stunning. The only downfall for us was the sulfur smelling water, the warm shower water only lasting 5 minutes (so for two people needing to shower after off roading in the mud, that was a little rough) then it’s cold. There were some crumbs and stains on the counters, the toilet, shower, the fridge, and toothpaste stains in the sink - but I guess that’s to expect with there being no cleaner. And that’s not the hosts fault- some campers just don’t follow the rules. All in all, we had a wonderful time and plan on booking another trip for next year.

We loved camping here it was very secluded and we were able to enjoy a nice campfire right under the beautiful Vermont sky. The host Tony was very nice and showed very kind hospitality, he allowed us to use his kayak on the actual pond although there is a pond on the site it's just a small pond that you can swim in if you want or you can go to the hosts main house and go in the real pond. I fished the big pond and caught a ton of yellow perch and some catfish in the pond by the site. We definitely would love to come back again someday.

We loved camping at Camp whiskey throttle. We went with five couples. Everyone stayed in their own tents and we had a fantastic time. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to do riding up there as well ATV or a SnowMobile

First time and hope to stay again! So much time and effort was put into the camp. From inside the cabin to outdoors with the covered fire pit and cooking area, everything was clean and well maintained! Far enough from all the people so it’s private but a quick trip to town if something is needed. 10/10 recommend camp whiskey throttle!

Awesome spot. A lot of time and thought was put in to making the camp. The inside is beautiful and cozy and the roofed in fire pit outside was amazing for the quick couple showers we got while we were there. Absolutely recommended.

Parc National du Mont-Orford

Nestled among the towering peaks of Mont Orford and Mont Chauve, Mont-Orford National Park lets hikers take in majestic views from Bear Peak via Cretes Trail and Pekan Trail. Lake Memphremagog

Explore the 21 islands of Lake Memphremagog while sailing or canoeing through its waters. Bleu Lavande

Coaticook

Visit Coaticook on the Coaticook River to traverse the longest suspended footbridge in North America. Campers will also enjoy exploring the town’s historic features, such as the Château Arthur-Osmore-Norton, which was built at the turn of the 20th century and now houses the Musée Beaulne. Coaticook is also renowned for its dairy industry, so take a moment to sample its famous cheeses and ice cream during a daytrip.
