2 nights at Purple Sunset
Cozy, well-equipped and built with warmth and lots of love, the tiny house was exactly what we were looking for to welcome the new year :-) Alain was kind, welcoming and very responsive; he made sure we have everything we needed, and went above and beyond to find a solution for a little technical issue related to the wood stove (thank you Alain!). We spent a peaceful down time, recharged, and were even able to enjoy snowshoeing in the beautiful vast terrain. What a treat!

Frank is a really nice guy and has a beautiful property. His land is tucked away deep in the woods down a dirt road. His house is on the property, but he’s got a really large lot of land with beautiful views of nearby mountains. I stayed on his property in winter, and he was super accommodating, he plowed for me, helped me pick out the best spot that would be shielded from the wind, and even provided me with an extension cord for power and some wood. I’ll definitely be back. He’s got amazing views and a very private feeling property. He even offered that I could stay in his finished lower level if I got too cold. Cool property and it’s really close to Mt Pisgah where I was doing some hikes.

3 nights at Camp whiskey throttle
Anthony's venue made one of the most memorable trips possible for my friends and I, as we made space away from our day jobs.
The camp is remote, scenic, and close by to most necessary resources (there is a LaPerle's market a few minutes drive away with everything we could imagine!). Additionally, there is a beautiful waterfall just 15-20 minutes away called Beaver Brook Falls with small trails and picnic benches.
Despite NH being on drought warning and our group not being able to enjoy a campfire, we felt no setbacks in our plans. On top of this, Anthony provided excellent turnaround in communications and incredibly gracious accommodations.
Excellent camp, even more amazing host. I would recommend this hipcamp 1000/10!

We had a wonderful time at Nordic roots farm. What a magical place! The airstream was fully equipped with all of the essentials travelling with our one year old. She had a blast with the pigs and chickens too. We look forward to coming back! Thank you guys again for the memorable trip :)

Weekend Trip to Camp whiskey throttle
My girlfriend and I stayed at Camp Whiskey Throttle on a nice fall weekend and had an incredible time, the camp exceeded our expectations. Great lighting at night made for a romantic trip for two, however it would also be a super fun spot to go with family or friends as well.

Weekend Trip to Purple Sunset
My wife and I had such a wonderful time. The place was peaceful, comfortable, and beautifully maintained , you can really feel the care that goes into it.
Alain was an exceptional host. He was welcoming, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. It’s rare to meet someone who genuinely puts so much heart into making guests feel at home.
We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the experience. We can’t wait to come back! ☺️

I was looking for a place that was in between Pittsburgh and Errol for grouse hunting. Distance wise Anthony's place was about center. It ended up being a perfect location. Its easy to get to, quiet, and well maintained. The communication with Anthony was excellent. I will 100% return when I am hunting up there again. Thank you!

This is a great little spot! You can tell a lot of love was put into it. The outdoor kitchen was our favorite thing- even in the pouring rain you could cook a good meal on the flat top and then eat it under the gazebo with a fire. It’s on a dead end road, and not a single person passed the cabin all 4 days we were there. Extremely quiet. You can ride ATVs right from camp. Everything you could possibly need is available. And the surrounding location is absolutely stunning.
The only downfall for us was the sulfur smelling water, the warm shower water only lasting 5 minutes (so for two people needing to shower after off roading in the mud, that was a little rough) then it’s cold. There were some crumbs and stains on the counters, the toilet, shower, the fridge, and toothpaste stains in the sink - but I guess that’s to expect with there being no cleaner. And that’s not the hosts fault- some campers just don’t follow the rules.
All in all, we had a wonderful time and plan on booking another trip for next year.

C’était parfait!!
Bien isolé, sans voisins et assez reculé de la route. On entends un peu la route mais en bruit de fond seulement. Ça ne nous a pas empêché de dormir.
Le terrain est beau, bien aménagé. On a eu l’impression d’être seul au monde! On y retournerait sans hésitation!

We loved camping here it was very secluded and we were able to enjoy a nice campfire right under the beautiful Vermont sky. The host Tony was very nice and showed very kind hospitality, he allowed us to use his kayak on the actual pond although there is a pond on the site it's just a small pond that you can swim in if you want or you can go to the hosts main house and go in the real pond. I fished the big pond and caught a ton of yellow perch and some catfish in the pond by the site. We definitely would love to come back again someday.

Great private lot about 30 mins from KT. Great view of the mountains. Site had full amenities and full hookup for an RV. Both Rv and tent camping. Host is highly responsive. Highly reccomended.

Very nice camping spot: private, lot of space, very clean. Very dog-friendly and the fence makes it easy and safe for the dogs. The large fire pit and tables with umbrellas make it very comfortable. I recommend!

Absolutely loved my short stay here! Frank is very friendly and accommodating. The land is beautiful and spacious and the HOT outdoor shower was awesome! He goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home, I highly recommend this location! Also, the stars at night were magical!!
