Le message en français suivra. Come camp on this beautifully forested parcel of land! The property is perfect for any outdoor lover or wildlife watcher. Turkeys, owls, deer, rare birds and many more can all be seen during your stay. Enjoy lots of privacy with nature all around you. This is the perfect spot for tenters and those with small travel trailers. Pets on leash welcome. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. The trail system is perfect for easy hikes and short excursions to the creek, or nearby field. Boat rentals are available in Fitchbay, 5 min away. Bike and hiking trails as well as many more activities in the vicinity. *****Please note there are no facilities on site! Our policies clearly outline, one vehicle, and 4 persons. Do not show up with 2 or more vehicles with half a dozen people****** Please leave the site EXACTLY the way you left it. This also includes taking the trash you created with you****** If this doesn't sound like something you can do. Please do not book our campsite ****** If you expect nature to have no bugs, no rain and a cool 21 degrees with no clouds, this is also not your campsite*****Please note our cancelation policies!****** We've also obviously had some less than pleasant experiences lately. This is hip camp. A community of friendly, welcoming and generally amazing, nature-loving campers. We love hosting you and would like to continue to do so. Please keep this in mind when staying here. Avec un peu de chance, vous pouvez y trouver des dindes, chevreuil et des oiseaux rares. Il y a deux sites dont vous pouvez choisir et apprécier la nature autour de vous. Les sites sont idéals pour des tentes et petites roulottes. Les animaux domestiques en laisse sont les bienvenus. Feux de camp sont permis. S.V.P, prennez note qu'il n'y a pas d'installation disponible.

      Booked two nights, a Saturday & a Sunday, via Instant Book, for my dog & myself, coming 2 hours from Montreal. Sent host a message asking about buying firewood, heard nothing back. Arrived at site (with my own firewood) to find the gate locked. Calls & messages to host were not answered. All the other local Hipcamps were booked but luckily on another app there was a nice family that let us spend the night in their driveway so we didn't have to drive all the way back & miss our activities of the next day. It was cold (as I wasn't able to pitch our tent & build a fire as I'd planned) & disappointing, & weird.

      Ce camping Hip Camp, correspondait tout à fait à ce que nous recherchions, I.e un 3 jours de tranquillité agrémentés uniquement par les sons de la nature. Tel que décrit, nous avions accès à tout le magnifique terrain de Christian, notre hôte. Des chemins bien entretenus parcourent leur terre de 150 acres. Un étang, à l’autre bout du terrain est également mis à notre disposition. Christian et sa mère sont des hôtes très proactifs et attentionnés. Une belle rencontre. On reviendra c’est certain.

      First hip camp was a bit of a rough start for us due to instructions being unclear but ended in an overall nice experience with a tow from a kind neighbor! We followed the check-in instructions to what we believed was the campsite as it matched the description in the instructions. However, we found out after being unable to get up the hill after overnight rain that those were the instructions to site 2 while we were supposed to be at site 1 (where we wouldn’t have gotten stuck). With better signage on site (it was in long grass so we didn’t see it) and specifying which campsite is which in the check-in instructions, this can certainly be avoided. The host was receptive to our recommendations, so hopefully the experience is smoother for future campers! It is a beautiful space, quiet and secluded in nature, so definitely recommend pitching your tent here. Unless on-site signage is more prominently displayed in the future, perhaps message the host to verify where exactly you should go.

      Nice isolated land in the forest. The road to the second campsite is a bit rough, but you get to a very private spot!

      The campsite is as advertised. The location is remote, but once there the campsite is easy to access, just inside the gate. Christian came by to check on us and brought some firewood. We hiked a bit along the old logging roads and saw tracks in the snow of some wildlife, but only saw birds. (In warmer weather more wildlife is probably evident.) The main reason we were there was to observe the eclipse since the site was near the centerline of totality. The cloudless sky was ideal for that. I was also interested in how wildlife would react to the eclipse, though with minimal wildlife evident, that was limited to some bird chatter as the Sun reappeared.

      Great spot off grid for dryer times. Lovely meadow surrounded by trees. The ground was already saturated when we arrived, and it started to rain at 3 am. We decided to get back up hill at 4 am, sliding and coating our trailer in mud. Back safely but the hill can be challenge in wet times.

      Premièrement, Christian est un hôte dédié, toutes les informations nous ont été données pour accéder au site sans encombre. Christian veille à ce que vous passiez un bon séjour. Comme c'est indiqué, il s'agit d'un site sans services, mais nous étions bien informés de cela et c'est ce qui fait le charme du lieu également. La propriété est complètement boisée et parcourue par de nombreux chemins, le potentiel de marche semble énorme, mais nous n'avons pu tous les parcourir. La neige était encore très présente début avril et nous n'avions pas de raquettes. Le clou du spectacle pour nous a été le ruisseau en contrebas du terrain. qui apporte un touche supplémentaire très appréciable. Un 5/5 pour nous.

      Christian's camping site is wonderful. Although it's on the side of the road, there's rarely cars passing by. It's really quiet and walking the trails on the property is enjoyable. Thanks Christian!

      This location is fantastic if you are planning on discovering the local hot spots. There is also plenty to do on the property. Their land is absolutely beautiful, with a small lake, and kms of trails to discover. The owners are friendly, welcoming and helpful. We are already planning our next vacation here. See you soon!

      L'emplacement est idéal, proche de Magog et des activité autour et isoler pour des soirées tranquilles entre amis. Il y a la randonné Pinacle qui est courte, agréable avec une très belle vue. Au sommet on peut observer des aigles. Il y a aussi le lac Memphrémagog qui est à 10 minutes du site où on peut faire des sports d'eau (Kayak, Paddle, Bâteau, Voile). La plage des Cantons à Magog accepte les chiens et il y a aussi possibilité de faire des sports d'eau. Pour ce qui est du bois, il vaut mieux l'acheter sur la route. 5$ le gros sac comparativement à 15$ offert au site. Par contre, nous n'avons pas trouvé l'étang d'eau qui devrait être sur le terrain de camping. Nous avons marché plus de 15 minutes sur les différents chemins possibles et impossible à trouver. Nous avons aussi été en voiture pour aller plus loin et là non plus on ne l'a pas trouvé. L'hôte n'a pas été très clair dans l'emplacement et cela même après lui avoir posé la question deux fois. Il nous a pas donné non plus l'emplacement GPS. Dommage. Aussi, pour avoir de l'eau potable, il faut appeler pour que l'hôte vienne l'amener au site. Ce qui n'est pas très pratique... Il n'y avais pas de poubelles ni des bacs pour trier les déchets. Nous avons tout ramassé au jour le jour, on a dû trainer les poubelles dans la voiture pour trouver un endroit où les jeter.

      La température était à la pluie jour et nuit et vu que j’étais en bas d’une grosse côte en gazon, je n’ai presque pas pu monter la côte. Autrement, si la température aurait été ensoleillée, ça aurait été un beau spot pour relaxer car très privé. Les hôtes sont très gentils.

      Beau site sans services très tranquille. J'étais au premier site près du rang mais c'était très peu fréquenté. Le propriétaire est très gentil. Je voulais être seule et avoir la paix en profitant de la nature, je l'ai eu ! ( :
