Sit by the pond, sit by the creek, sit in the waterfall, sit out at Blueberry Hill for a pleasant breeze or up on SunStar Ridge for some nightly star gazing or lay back in a hammock or on zero gravity chair 1 Bunkie on a hill overlooking the pond and 2 private tent sites, one at Boot Hill and one in the Field of Dreams. Each site has a fire pit and a compostable toilet and there is an outhouse on the property for the bunkie. Great for canoes, kayaks, bird and wildlife watching with spectacular star gazing. This property was part of an old homestead and as such I am still finding things so please respect the caution tape and stay on the marked trails. Some are treasures (European Grapes, Bergamot, French Roses, Asparagus, Rhubarb, Ramps, Fiddle-heads) and others not so much. I am re purposing what I can and collecting the rest for disposal as I nurture this land back to what it was meant to be, paradise. There is an outdoor shower available as well. If you are green minded you are welcome here!

If you are lucky you may see one of the resident deer that sanctuary on the property. At the end of the road is a fantastic ATV /bike/hike trails. Staying in the tipi is a magical experience that will bring you back in time. Star gaze, forest bathe, detox in the sauna, catch up on the book you're reading in our Nakie hammock for 2. We will be offering at additional cost breakfast in bed and our version of a night time turn down service including a bedtime foot soak with marl clay, himalayan salt and lavender. Tiny home/guest cabin nestled in the trees but still conveniently located near parking and the main Road to town. Quick 15 minute drive to tourist attractions & historical downtown Kingston. Also near multiple lakes, hiking trails and other outdoor pursuits. Inside our Tiny Cabin is a main floor with living area, fold away dining table, full bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The kitchenette has a sink, bar fridge with small freezer, stove top convection over/toaster, drip coffee maker, single burner element and microwave. It is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, dishes, coffee grounds, some spices and cooking oil. There is also an outdoor BBQ. The upstairs loft has Queen size bed, smart TV and clothing storage. All linens (sheets, towels etc. are included). The cabin is heated and we provide fans in the Summer months. We love animals but unfortunately our tiny cabin is not suitable for pets. Our cabin is strictly non smoking. We are passionate about tiny home living and leaving the smallest environmental footprint possible. The Tiny Teal Cabin was thoughtfully built to utilize minimal space and be energy efficient, all the while providing a serene sanctuary and escape amongst the trees. Off grid cabin for rent Our newly renovated off grid cabin is situated on 200 acres of land. There is a queen size bed, as well as a single over double bed. It is heated with a propane fireplace, so you wake up cozy warm. There is a propane stove and BBQ for cooking. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes pots & pans, and utensils, as well as some basic supplies. (Coffee, tea, sugar, hot chocolate) The cabin is powered with solar and batteries, with generator back up, so we ask that you be mindful of how much power you use. There is no running water in the winter, but we will provide potable water for drinking, cooking, and cleaning. There is a fire pit with wood for burning. An outhouse is on site. Suitable trails for hiking, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, when conditions allow. There is access to some lovely 4wheel trails as well. In the summer there are lakes that are close by,(15 minute drive), for swimming and fishing. When conditions allow, there is ice fishing as well. In the early spring we produced maple syrup. It gets quite busy with people helping us, but you can see how maple syrup is produced. The sugar shack is across the road from the cabin. There are no guarantees that we will be making syrup on the days of your stay….that is up to Mother Nature. There is a winery located near Tweed, and Prince Edward County is about an hours drive from the cabin.
