1 site · RV1 acre · Lanark, ONThe Church on the Hill was built in 1894, with the Sunday School added in the late 70's. We came along and, in 2013, renovated the heritage building with sustainability in mind. In 2015 the Sunday School was also renovated and turned into a 2 guest room B&B offering. The following year, an 856 sq ft addition was added and the Day Spa came into being, along with an extra B&B guest room. With Covid, the two areas became private suites and the Day Spa has yet to re-open. Spa Suite guests get to enjoy the NIR and the FAR Infra-red saunas, located indoors, along with the three levels of decking and the outdoor Finnish Sauna. When there are no B&B guests in the Suite, for an additional fee, Hipcamp guests may be able to access these facilities by the hour. Please inquire ahead to be sure of availability. As I am soon to be a full timer myself, I'm keen to share the property's extra space and hear your camping/glamping stories. There is always more to learn. I'd be happy to share those stories on your patio or mine. Come enjoy all that Lanark Highlands, and the larger area, has to offer.Learn more about this land:At Church on the Hill, located just NW of Lanark, in Lanark Highlands (the Hamlet of Watson's Corners, and not where the google maps insists on showing it) depending on your size, you can park on the paved curb outside the renovated church proper, or in the gravel driveway, where an electrical plug in may be an option. The location is also a B&B and Day Spa. When we do not have guests it might be possible, for an extra fee, to access our Saunas. We have three, and offer an hourly rate. A Finnish Sauna outside, and both a NIR and FAR Infra-red Sauna inside. Within 10 minutes you can access both Canada's Mississippi and the Clyde River.
