White Wolf Acres

6 sites · RVs, Tents80 acres · Renfrew, ON
Gorgeous, serene 38 acres of pristine woodlands, trails and meadows. Our property is named after our large White German Shepard, don’t worry she’s friendly. Stay in our trailer and enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. Take a stroll down our personal trails, or bring your four-wheelers/bikes and enjoy the 1000s of kilometres of trails that begin after our driveway. Piles of rocks throughout the bush indicate that this land once was farmed. A creek runs through the property with a beaver pond. The land has a main trail that goes right through to the back of the property. The land is a mixed forest with maple, pine, hemlock, birch and cedar. The land is rolling and flat with good walking trails. Great hiking, cross country skiing or biking trails. Only 45 minutes to Kanata, 30 minutes to Perth, Almonte or Carleton Place, and for downhill skiing only 30 minutes to Calabogie. Many lakes in the area for fishing, swimming and boating. We look forward to having you stay with us, happy camping, Jacob and Andreya

Pleasant Farm Vistas in Rupert

1 site · RV2 acres · Alcove, QC
Surrounded by tree-topped rolling hills and beautiful vistas with brilliant sunrises and sunsets. Watch for deer grazing silently and countless birds. Hear the distant cattle moo in the morning mist. 300 metres from the Rupert Community Centre (Rupert Fair September 8-9). 10km North of Wakefield. The Lapeche General Store is just a few kms down the road. Your site can be next to, or nestled between, a vintage 1968 Travelux (like an Airstream) and a 1965 Citation trailer - which provides a cozier feel (both trailers are works in progress, not in use during your stay). This listing is NOT for use of those trailers, but for your RV, camper, tent, etc. The satellite photos shows the site area itself with trees - not sure when that was but only trees or grasses on the site's sides. The site is close to the road, and while the speed limit is low, some road noise is to be expected. The site offers pull-through turnaround access. Wifi is available from the farm house next to the site (not always 100% strength, but pretty good, and using Bell Fibe). Fires can be made in the outdoor fireplace ('chiminea') which includes an attached grill. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am

Church on the Hill

1 site · RV1 acre · Lanark, ON
The Church on the Hill was built in 1894, with the Sunday School added in the late 70's. We came along and, in 2013, renovated the heritage building with sustainability in mind. In 2015 the Sunday School was also renovated and turned into a 2 guest room B&B offering. The following year, an 856 sq ft addition was added and the Day Spa came into being, along with an extra B&B guest room. With Covid, the two areas became private suites and the Day Spa has yet to re-open. Spa Suite guests get to enjoy the NIR and the FAR Infra-red saunas, located indoors, along with the three levels of decking and the outdoor Finnish Sauna. When there are no B&B guests in the Suite, for an additional fee, Hipcamp guests may be able to access these facilities by the hour. Please inquire ahead to be sure of availability. As I am soon to be a full timer myself, I'm keen to share the property's extra space and hear your camping/glamping stories. There is always more to learn. I'd be happy to share those stories on your patio or mine. Come enjoy all that Lanark Highlands, and the larger area, has to offer.Learn more about this land:At Church on the Hill, located just NW of Lanark, in Lanark Highlands (the Hamlet of Watson's Corners, and not where the google maps insists on showing it) depending on your size, you can park on the paved curb outside the renovated church proper, or in the gravel driveway, where an electrical plug in may be an option. The location is also a B&B and Day Spa. When we do not have guests it might be possible, for an extra fee, to access our Saunas. We have three, and offer an hourly rate. A Finnish Sauna outside, and both a NIR and FAR Infra-red Sauna inside. Within 10 minutes you can access both Canada's Mississippi and the Clyde River. There are several hiking opportunities, including on the K&P, and several festival options (once Covid is behind us). As well, just a few minutes away, we boast Purdon's Bog, which, along about July1st each year, offers a showy display of the largest colony of Lady Slipper Orchids on the continent. Anywhere from 16,000 to 32,000 annually. While in the area, you will want to visit Merrickville, Almonte and Perth. As well, Canada's capital, Ottawa, with all it has to offer is only an hour away. Historic Kingston is about an hour and 15 minutes. All towns and cities have lots of attractions to keep you busy during day trips.
