When booking with us you will have the ability to choose 1 of 6 campsites, where you will camp in mature forest, immersed in the beautiful vibrations and energy of the minerals that cover the land.
If you have children, they are welcome to play with all of our boys, on their trampoline and play equipment, and enjoy the animals that live on our property as well.
There are countless amazing local stores, and many natural attractions to visit nearby to rock hound, hike, swim, boat, and fish. There is also, an extensive trail systems to enjoy on your bikes, quads, and sleds close by.

This simple, clean, dry, and neat bunkie is comfortable and has a history of providing fantastic sleeping conditions with guests saying they had their best sleep in it. There are windows at the front and back providing a cross-breeze, assisted by a fan. The bunkie has electricity and lighting and can be used as a workspace.
This location is ideal for paddlers, swimmers, hikers, artists, writers, and those interested in the additional comforts of a cabin rather than tent camping.

Enjoy the beauty of Muskoka, Lake Joseph, Lake Roseau, and kayak along the Joseph River that connects them. Breathe in the fresh pine scent of the Blue Heron Bunkie, equipped with double and single bunk beds. Relax and have fun at the private beach and enjoy swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding (SUP), hiking, and bird watching with native species including blue herons, loons, owls, and humming birds. You may see deer, beavers, martins, turtles, and can enjoy fishing right from the dock.
The property has a main cottage that is occupied by the host/owners and is rented separately on other vacation rental/BNB websites. The bunkie is accessed by a staircase up to the deck and has a view of the Joseph River.
There is a private swimmable beach and a spacious dock with one available boat slip. The property includes 500 feet of waterfront and is about 2 acres in total. There is plenty of room for parking. The driveway is steep and curved and just requires being cautious.
If you prefer power boats and seadoos these can be rented at a nearby marina.
This simple, clean, dry, and neat bunkie is comfortable and has a history of providing fantastic sleeping conditions with guests saying they had their best sleep in it. There are windows at the front and back providing a cross-breeze, assisted by a fan. The bunkie has electricity and lighting and can be used as a workspace.
This location is ideal for paddlers, swimmers, hikers, artists, writers, and those interested in the additional comforts of a cabin rather than tent camping.
There is a large deck, bbq, fire pit, Muskoka chairs, and outdoor eating area that can be shared with the host. Confirm details with host.

We stayed at the Hemlock Grove site with 7 people, 3 cars and had plenty of room! We had 2 hammocks and 3 tents, this site is great for hammocking. Brent was very accommodating and provided all the information we needed. Unfortunately we got hit with some bad weather, but I would recommend Tryfan Forest to anyone looking to enjoy a quiet weekend on a beautiful piece of land.

Due to vehicle problems, I was unable to make my way to the site. Therefore, I can not comment on the facilities and the site. However, Brian was very supportive and attentive throughout. I can say that he is a fantastic host. I will definitely go to this site next time.

First time here and the host was very welcoming. We picked a spot close to the water but there was no car access to the site so we had to change it at the last minute. The host was very accommodating and made the changes without any issue. We like the site we chose and would come back again.

Lisa's property was amazing! Lots of room, beautiful view of everything. Saw deer every day! Loved the outhouse, we are used to privies at Algonquin but the outhouse was way better - especially with the rain we had. She was great with communication and even checked to make sure we were ok after a big gusty windy rainy period of time. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much Lisa.

We really enjoyed camping on Pennys land! The short drive to the cabin was beautiful! The trees really gave us privacy, which we loved :)
The cabin was so cozy and clean, and the provided bbq, burner and propane was very convenient!

This was one of our favourite Hipcamps. The lake was busier than we are used to but it was a long weekend so totally expected. We appreciated the private feel of the campsite being nestled in our little corner and we customized the site with tarp shelters and a hammock to lay about in the afternoons. The night sky was gorgeous with the moon and the sound of waves to keep us company. One should keep in mind that there are elevation changes at the site that could prove challenging for some. I was able to portage our canoe down to the water and back up to our vehicle but the pitch through the trees and down to the beach could prove tricky. Overall, we liked the secluded, civilized-rustic feel of the space: not Crown Land but sounds of the forest gave it a wild feel.

Lisa was super friendly, communicative, responsive and welcoming before and during our stay! The site and surrounding fields, forest and lake were spectacular and we had the entire grounds to ourselves. Couldn’t have made a better first impression and the site was beyond our expectations. Our stay at the Robyn's nest was very enjoyable! Ronald and Robyn are great, friendly hosts that have maintained a beautiful property. Not only have they provided a fully functional washroom on site, but they take the time to clean it regularly. There are also many things to do nearby. We will definitely be back to spend more time here!

Right across the road from a beach where you can swim and a white water racecourse where you can watch people playing, and or racing in the rapids.
A clean washroom as well.
I short drive in to town makes it one of the best places I’ve camped.

We had such a lovely time here! It was so quiet, and surrounded by beautiful ravens. There was even one that kept saying hello! The cabin was clean and not buggy. The outhouse was well maintained. They even provide a tent area outside the cabin so we could eat without getting attacked by bees.
Such a lovely property, very close by some beaches, small towns and really cool antique shops! The hosts were so warm and friendly.
I think our only suggestion would be to bring a foam mattress for the loft bed, as it's a very thin matt to sleep on. We're not in our 20s anymore, and definitely needed a thicker bed!
Would definitely recommend this rental. It's quiet, private, relaxing and exactly what we needed. 5/5!

From the time we arrived at the cabin, I readily told myself that I should have booked a longer stay. We loved the cabin and the facilities at the site. The site was also near provincial and municipal parks for all the activities you want to engage in. The site is also not so far from a big town where you can get anything you need. Even the instructions and tips given upon booking were so thorough that I didn't need to clarify anything. The owner was also very responsive and accommodating. We definitely recommend this place.

We had a really good time camping here. There's another site but it's not close enough that you can hear or see them. We enjoyed being able to take our kayaks out into the lake although we didn't catch a single fish or even see life in the lake.
