Great place to be, very quiet and peaceful. Only thing I would change is that for the price you pay the gas and firewood should be included. It’s very inconvenient to have to go and get gas. Also it would have been nice to know that ahead of time as it was not mentioned in the listing. Overall the host was great and easy to get a hold of.

Overall was a nice getaway. Cozy off the grid cottage; hosts were very receptive and quick to answer questions; the occasional hot shower was a plus as well as the propane refrigerator and stove.
When electricity was needed the gas powered generator was very intrusive from a noise perspective. Post use filling was required which is fine but I suggest incorporating that cost into the price as it’s very inconvenient to leave the site in search of gasoline.
The main access road was considerably busier than anticipated given its location.

Had such amazing time with my partner and our dog! Kriss had everything we needed and were friendly and communicative. They checked in on us on our second day which was really lovely and felt very welcoming. Definitely would stay again! The place was serene!

It’s crazy how deceiving this cabin is. On the outside it just looks like a small cabin but on the inside is huge. Great decor and furniture is comfy, lots of places to sleep. Nice and quiet and private and relaxing. Lots of near by lakes that are just breathtaking. Host was kind enough to call and tell me me where to find some trails to take the jeep! Everything was great!! Loved it!!!

It was a great weekend, the camp was very clean and the owners are very kind making sure that your night went well. It was a great get away and was very quiet! Will be going back!

Loved COTW! Kriss was such an amazing host. Very accommodating. Gave detailed instructions and very sweet to get the wood stove going before our arrival. Cabin was nice and toasty when we got there.
Cabin was very spacious for 2 people and 3 dogs. Almost everything was provided ( pots, pans, utensils, etc...).
We very much enjoyed the quiet (when the generator wasnt running, but that wasnt very often) and seclusion. Definitely booking again!

It's was fun. A really great space. We were 4 adults and 2 dogs and it was pretty snug. 1 room cabins with a loft are not about privacy thou it's about family time. Great outdoor fire pit and wood stove inside. Kitchen was amazing. Propane fridge and stove.both great. All the appliances run off of a simple to use generator. It's loud.duh. we mostly ran it in the morning for coffee and to recharge stuff. Otherwise u don't need it. There is a BBQ but it has seen better days. The road the camp is connected to is very quiet. The area is great for exploring but clearly an ATV or side by side is required as the area is huge and very hilly. My dogs slept great!
On the last night it's was just myself,my kid and 1 dog and the space felt much more spacious.Host was great. Will likely return in a different season.
My wife loved the shower!

What a wonderful little spot. The hosts are awesome and very helpful. The cabin has everything you need......and the nights wow, the stars were amazing. Our family really enjoyed ourselves, a great place to relax, unwind and take in nature.

We had an amazing time at the Call of the Wild off-the-grid camp. Kriss the hostess was very kind and responsible. The cabin is well equipped for an off-grid. The area is very nice, and we strongly recommend taking your time to drive around the lake and the forest to explore.

This was just what I was looking for in a secluded, quiet peaceful getaway. Kriss's cabin is the perfect off-grid experience, with no neighbors or noise but the necessities for a comfortable stay. We were a group of four but there was plenty of room for more while still feeling cozy and intimate. Everything we needed for cooking and relaxing was provided. Communication was clear and timely and the location is great for any season.

Will be back for sure! Definitely would recommend. The place is a perfect quiet getaway. Very comfortable beds and couch. The decor is cute. Relaxing being in the woods yet not far from town. Host are friendly and easy to get a hold of. It’s great to have a large shower and running water. Generator was easy to operate when needed. It is truly lovely
