This property was settled by the Irish in the mid 1800’s. Originally inhabited by Algonquin peoples the land was cleared for farming and they erected several building including a large German style hand hewn timber frame barn which still stands and is used today. The farm house was built in the 1910 and the original log cabins have been reframed into artistic buildings. It is wild to look around and imagine what life was like before now in a time when the land had no boundry lines and was traversed by indigenous peoples of this area. We have a great respect for those who have walked before us and a deep sense of gratitude for being here today. Learn more about this land: Perched high on a hilltop with scenic views of the surrounding area resting on the Canadian Shield! We are offering a gentle landing for those wishing to relax and enjoy nature.  We have several options for camping sites and experiences for campers to choose from. There are 6 campsites available for tent and RV/trailer campers. We can accommodate vehicles up to 30ft in length (no hookups available at this time). Pets are welcome! Go for a hike up the mountain, meander along the streams, walk to the lake 15min down a beautiful country road. Enjoy what we have going on at the art barn where we host artists in residence studios, music jams, workshops and events. Enjoy an evening around your private campfire or perhaps join some folks gathered at the communal fire pit under the stars. Book a sauna session for an evening, and possibly a massage or healing session. There’s always something to do on this farm😋

Stay-Relax-Unwind-Rejuvenate: The Guest House is a luxurious retreat tucked into the trees on 10 acres of land. It will provide you with the ultimate in privacy while being just 5 kms from the Town of Huntsville. Our Guest House is equipped with everything from a coffee pot and fiber-optic internet down to the wood for your private fire pit. We welcome well-behaved 4 legged guests. Your dog will love playing with our two Aussie's and hiking the many pet friendly trails in the Huntsville area. Please leash them when they first arrive for the protection of our farm animals. Once we see their reaction to the animals, in all likelihood, we can dispense with the leash. Over the past 2 years we have developed a Hobby Farm consisting of 5 Nigerian Dwarf Goats, 15 Exotic Hens, 2 Australian Shepherd dogs and 3 cats. We are just minutes from 3 local beaches, Arrowhead Provincial Park, Limberlost Forest Reserve (fabulous hiking) and Algonquin Park. Eateries and shopping are also 5 minutes from us.
