We are situated along the Mindemoya River and boast riverside views from our accommodation sites while also being a 2 minute walk (or less!) to the Providence Bay boardwalk and beach. We offer a great place to launch your kayak or paddle board, fish, listen to weekend musical entertainment, watch a glorious sunset or take a stroll on the beachfront boardwalk. Families enjoy the shallow sand beach, a large beachside playground and the local Interpretive Centre. Our central location makes a great base for exploring other attractions on Manitoulin Island.

Fall asleep to the sound of waves on the shore. A quiet comfy bunkie perfect for “glamping” on the gorgeous main beach in Southampton. 100m from the tennis club, short walk to uptown, with its many dining spots, and to the ice-cream shop! Stunning sunsets - best in the world! Perfect for two people, sleeps 4,. There is a double bed, a single and a single bunk above the double bed. Lounge chairs on the sand and Muskoka chairs around the firepit (burning a fire is dependant on the town’s rules), and an outdoor dining table. The bunkie is bright and spacious, and steps from the public washroom and parking lot. There are no indoor cooking facilities guaranteed, although we are laid back, friendly people and so just ask! We also have a bbq and outdoor tap. The bunkie is in front of our family cottage in the beachfront area of Southampton. Cottages are close together so you may see / hear the hosts and neighbours as they come and go, or walk along the boardwalk, but it is a quiet and peaceful spot. This is a novel situation good for inexpensive short term rentals in an otherwise expensive town without public campgrounds. Looking for quiet friendly renters. Why sleep in a van or tent when you can have a bed in a bunkie with a fridge and a fan!?

Marcia was a friendly and attentive host, making sure we had whatever we needed during our stay. The property was beautiful and well maintained, right on the beach with close walks to south Hampton. We will be back in the future and would recommend the place to anyone considering it!

I thought it was immaculate. Had a great location right down the road about 3 minutes from a nice lake with a park. The star gazing was beautiful. Shower was useful and cabins were more than sufficient. Highly recommended!

We loved staying at Mojitoville! The site was secluded and clean, and had really handy amenities. We loved sitting around the fire pit after cooking up a nice meal on the grill. The washing up station was super handy for cleaning up afterwards, and the on site shower was great to freshen up the next morning. Denise was very responsive to any questions and was a great host. Highly recommend this awesome site.

Hello! The bunkie was perfect! My favourite part was the deck outside of the cabin. I was able to enjoy the outdoor space right outside my door. The cabin has everything you need. I will definitely be back.

Gem of Georgian Bay

Wild, astonishingly beautiful and richly resourced. We loved our backpacking trip to High Dump campsite, including swimming in the crystal clear lake water and enjoying the spectacular cliff views
