Our home is located on the edge of elmira. We live on 14 acres. We built a 1 acre campground on our property which also has a few trails for you to wander. The property is great for walking your dog leash free. Close to amenities and town but also feels secluded. Your campground includes - fire pit - walking trail - large cut grass field - great for dogs and walking dogs - abuts farm land with lots of privacy - no hydro available at main campground but for an extra charge I can provide a generator - porta potty on site which is very clean. - ability to park on grass or gravel - depending on time of year pond, it does dry up but dogs love swimming in it. - great sunrises and sunsets - 2 minutes to groceries and liquor stores, restaurants, Tim Hortons, Dog Park etc. - Lots of wood supply for fires (Extra Charge) The property can accommodate multiple camping reservations but for now we are only accepting 1 at a time on a a 5 acre portion of our 14 acres. The pond does dry up as the summer goes on as of right now until we renovate it, And we do not allow swimming in it (Animals are ok).

We were provided a nice location to set up our tent, and the views are stunning. My toddler was mesmerized by the animal on the side, which we adored. We received great assistance and were given a pail of water. Taryn's was also kind enough to let us stay longer. If you want a quiet and private camp, it was a nice experience.

Campsite was huge, so many places to walk to and explore. The hill on the opposite side of the field is a perfect place to watch the sunrise. It’s about a 15 minute walk/2 minute drive to Tim hortons, a&w, McDonald’s, gas station and what not. Very much enjoyed my stay and will be coming back again if possible

1 night at Husky Alpaca Ranch

We had a great experience at this farm. Taryn made us feel confortable. The place is great for a quiet night of stargazing around a fire pit. Plus how fun it is to wake up around alcapa, cows and chickens. The only down side is that the toilet were a bit minimalist, we didn’t care, but if you are a little fancy about that it’s something to consider.

The site is perfect for catching the sunset towards one end of the field.

We enjoyed camping at Taryn's farm. The vistas were beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful. We fished at the pond and were successful catching several fish. The farm is close to Niagara Falls where we attended 2 concerts. Thanks.

We had a lovely night here. Posted checkin and check out times are a bit late / early for one night but they made it clear we could come early and depart late if the space was free and we coordinated. Communication was excellent and the space very private and large with a beautiful fire pit. Also very close to amenities in Elmira.

Nice place, host is very friendly and helpful. What a fantastic spot for a camping trip! We absolutely loved our time next to the river. the river view was so relaxing, and it was perfect for cooling off after a day of exploring. The kids had a blast skipping sea shells and spotting little fish. Evenings were magical, with campfires crackling under a sky full of stars and the gentle murmur of the river in the background. The setup was great, offering just the right balance of feeling immersed in nature while still having convenient access to everything we needed. We're already dreaming about our next visit to this riverside paradise. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and refreshing camping experience!

Weekend Trip to Husky Alpaca Ranch

We had an amazing time at the alpaca ranch! Taryn was super friendly, flexible, and responsive, and showed us around the farm and let us help feed the animals! The alpacas and huskies are adorable and you should definitely plan a visit even if you aren’t camping. Very peaceful and quiet and had a great fire pit and view of the stars! Keep in mind when packing that there is a basic porta potty without running water, no picnic table, and that it can get a bit windy in the open field. It was perfect for our needs and we would definitely stay here again!
