Later it was part of a Manitoba pilot project for hi-bred poplar so there is a 14 acre poplar forest that was planted on a grid. It is a very unique place. We love it here and hope you do too! We are also only 30 minutes from Moose lake or Whitemouth Lake which also offers excellent fishing and Moose Lake has a very nice beach and kids play area as well. We have another 80 acre forest area only 2 kms from our main camp area for the more experienced hikers. We have a small flock of chickens and a few roosters. There is a bar, and general store in the town of Sprague only about a mile away. We have an outhouse available for our guests.
