To get there you need to be in Manitoba, 2nd road east, of Hwy #229 (south side) 60 miles north of Winnipeg of Hwy #7 .The lane looks like your going down a bush trail (do not let this fool you). This site is on a ridge, surrounded with spruce trees, oaks. and poplars. You will find a fire pit, out door shower. out door kitchen, out house and access to a generator. There also is a extra camper if you do not want to sleep in a tent. A gazebo to get out of the rain and or to eat your meal away from flys And a fire pit with free woodFirst of you have to be in Manitoba to enjoy all what Swamp Palace has to offer. It is nestle in a grove of spruces in a well-treed area, but open enough to see the stars. Plenty of song birds and other wild life. It has a camp kitchen, with access to all your cooking utensils, a frig and a propane stove also a BBQ . A screen in eating area, a shower (no hot water), a out door toilet. and a fire pit. and excess to a generator. It has enough room for a 25 foot camper , or pop up camper, and a special area for tents, I also have a extra camper to rent out for a fee if needed . It is a 15 minute ride to the lake and a 10 min drive to a restaurant and gas station . Just bring your own bedding and drinking water, the rest is supplied.

Great campsite and great company

I loved the day spent at Swamp Palace. The host was a great company and the site was awesome with a nice fire pit, great kitchenette with supplies. Richard stayed the entire time and was an awesome person to talk to.

Last minute trip was well accommodated by the host, Richard! He was absolutely amazing! Very friendly and welcoming. Sunsets were gorgeous and the site was very well kept! Definitely recommend it as a simple get away! So many amenities that make your stay comfortable. 10/10

20 ft pop-up camper

Swamp Palace was the perfect, secluded get away from loud, noisy, busy campgrounds. Being away from bright lights provided amazing views of the starry night sky. Richard is a generous host who went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
