A beautiful piece of property with campsites and trails along the Winnipeg River and Pine Creek. Enjoy scenic hiking through the boreal shield rock landscape on-site while searching for seasonal berries, mushrooms, and beautiful lookouts. You can walk along the Winnipeg River and Pine Creek, both of which are excellent for spotting ducks, geese, swans, and other birds nesting along the shore. Some sites offer full amenities, while others are as rustic and secluded as you prefer. Each site includes a fire pit to enjoy the evenings while watching beautiful sunsets. Firewood is available for a fee. This is an active farm property, so you may hear occasional animal sounds, which only add to the charm of the experience. There is excellent access to a large dock for tying up your boat, swimming, or casting a line to catch a variety of fish. We also offer paddle boats, paddle boards, canoes, and fishing boat rentals at an additional cost. There is a large yard for lawn games and a volleyball net for those looking for something active to do. We also offer accommodations for horse owners, including fenced paddocks with water and miles of nearby trails to explore. Please inquire for additional pricing. In the center of Steep Rock, just 250 m from the lake, you can set up a tent, or camper, with electrical and water access, just a 3 minute walk from the lake. There's a shady bonfire location in the bush with hammocks, access to a BBQ, on site kayak rentals, coffee, ice cream, cold drinks and other conveniences. And plenty of free parking. Accessible without driving down dusty gravel roads. Portable toilet on site. I had trouble uploading photos, otherwise I'd have better ones.

Come relax in a private campsite in the country. The woods on this beautiful six-acre property are inviting for anyone looking for a simple getaway, a quiet space to host a small group event or a private place to stay while taking in the events in the Pembina Valley area. We have one camp site available that is large enough to pitch 2-3 tents or park a small camper. The sunset is excellent and the stars at night are stunning. There are short walking trails throughout the wooded area of the property and you have access to playground activities on the main yard as well, including swings, a trampoline, monkey bars, and whatever forts you can find in the bush. Local amenities can be found nearby in local cities Winkler (10 min), Morden (20 min), and the town of Plum Coulee (15 min). In season (typically early July), enjoy easy access to our Saskatoon U-Pick farm ($15/basket). You may also forage produce found in the woods (free) including chokecherries and gooseberries (typically mid summer) - Campers are responsible for providing their own self-contained washroom facilities at this time. We plan to improve this in the future. We have a porta potty with a privacy tent that can be set up ($10/day) Please let us know if you would like this addition. - A fire pit with some firewood, a picnic table, and garbage bin are provided. - Potable water taps, garbage/recycling, and compost disposal available at main yard. Small amounts of sewer disposal can be arranged onsite. - Pets are welcome but must remain on a leash or under owner control at all times. We have a friendly dog, we can restrict her boundaries to our yard during your stay (unless you prefer some canine company!) - No alcohol, cannabis, or illegal drugs permitted. - Quiet hours after 9 PM.

We are a small Eco Resort in Sandilands Provincial Forest. All 4 cabins are solar, and off grid. Just 3 min for Woodridge, and set on the western border of the Sandilands provincial Forest. It's a cottage community and sees a steady influx of visitors. There are groomed snowmobile trails, cross country ski trails, as well as a ATVing, and hunting in the area. SANDILANDS PROVINCIAL FOREST: The soil is still a reminder of the ancient beaches, but is now covered with a rich forest of mixed hardwoods and majestic pine. The high sand ridges of the Sandilands area, known as Bedford Hills and Cypress Mountains, are the second highest point of elevation in Manitoba. Additionally you will have access to all the shared amenities of the eco-resort including a wood-fired barrel sauna (all year), outdoor shower (in the summer) As well as the Organic swimming pool. There are 3 other unique rents on the property Fire pit firewood can be bought $20 for a wagon (Woodstove wood is provide). You can also buy hand made Metis art. Hip, hip, hooray! "Between the Flags Camp 'n Cabins" is now open to nice folks. Located a short 5 minute drive from the tourist town of Gimli, we've got 120 acres of forest. It's secluded and quite quiet with several kilometers of mowed, signed, and mapped trails, a pond with a floating dock and seating area, a common area with outdoor games, a fire pit, and a small stage for campers/renters to interact. There are 2 tiny houses available for rent: 1.) Micro Cabin in the Secluded Forest 2.) The Blue Owl Tiny House Experience. 3.) There are 3 non-serviced, clearly signed as RV#1, RV#2 and RV#3. These are back-in RV sites to accommodate travel trailers, fifth wheel campers, Class A, Class B, Class C RVs. All styles are welcome. 4.) Tent sites are available with parking for one vehicle. Both cabins, each RV and tent sites all have a picnic table and firepit. We have 4 traditional outhouses, a septic holding tank and a black-water tote for your convenience. Garbage and recycling receptacles are placed conveniently. We've set up a couple of challenging Scavenger Hunts along the trails. Printed checklists and pencils are in the book box located at the common games area near the stage. Berry picking Saskatoons, Cranberries, Chokecherries and Loganberries are abundant while in season. There are plenty of wildflowers and an opportunity to see wildlife in it's natural setting. There have been many deer sightings and on occasion coyotes and bears have been in the area as well. The popular tourist town of Gimli is a short drive away, where you'll find shopping, restaurants, swimming, fishing, boating, farmer's markets and festivals. Gimli Motorsports Park is close by featuring auto and motorcycle racing.
