Hip, hip, hooray! "Between the Flags Camp 'n Cabins" is now open to nice folks.
Located a short drive from the tourist town of Gimli, we've got 120 acres of forest. It's secluded and quite quiet with several kilometers of mowed, signed, and mapped trails, a pond with a floating dock and seating area, a common area with outdoor games, a fire pit, and a small stage for campers/renters to interact.
There are 2 tiny houses available for rent:
1.) Micro Cabin in the Secluded Forest and
2.) The Blue Owl Tiny House Experience.
There are 3 non-serviced, back-in RV sites and a few shaded tent sites.
Both cabins, each RV and tent sites all have a picnic table and firepit.
We have 4 traditional outhouses, a septic holding tank and a black-water tote for your convenience.
We've set up a couple of challenging Scavenger Hunts along the trails. Printed checklists and pencils are in the Book Box located at the common games area near the stage.
Berry picking (Saskatoons, Cranberries, Loganberries are abundant while in season. There are plenty of wildflowers and an opportunity to see wildlife in it's natural setting.
Gimli Motorsports Park is close by and there are endless events in the popular tourist town of Gimli and surrounding area including farmer's markets, restaurants, beach, racing, festivals and more!We'll escort new renters from the gated driveway to the Micro Cabin. Park right outside, easy unloading and you're set. We provide a clean mattress cover and drinking water, you bring your own bedding for a double mattress. Being off-grid there is no fridge so bring your own cooler for your food and beverages. The cabin is equipped with most of the kitchen items one would need; plates, glasses, pots, pans and a variety of utensils.
The solar panels will light the cabin interior, outdoor patio lights and charge your phones. The system cannot handle hair dryers, curling irons or coffee makers but the indoor regulated propane cooktop will easily boil water and fry your bacon. There is also a gas barbeque.
The gravity flow shower and sink are as warm as the days' sunshine makes it and an outhouse is close by.
The owners live close by and can assist in any way we can to ensure a good experience.

We have a second cabin, The Blue Owl Tiny House Experience, set up with similar amenities as the Micro Cabin, however slightly larger with queen size bed and optional single cot. $109 per night based on 2 night minimum stay.

We also offer 3 non-serviced back-in R.V. sites with some shade, picnic tables and firepits at each site. There is a septic holding tank and blackwater tote for camper's free use. Bring your own water. Inverter generators are permitted. $20/night based on max 4 persons / unit.

We have designated several partly shaded, flat grassy tent sites, a short walk from parking and outhouses. $10/night based on max 2 persons/tent.
