Hip, hip, hooray! "Between the Flags Camp 'n Cabins" is now open to nice folks. Located a short 5 minute drive from the tourist town of Gimli, we've got 120 acres of forest. It's secluded and quite quiet with several kilometers of mowed, signed, and mapped trails, a pond with a floating dock and seating area, a common area with outdoor games, a fire pit, and a small stage for campers/renters to interact. There are 2 tiny houses available for rent: 1.) Micro Cabin in the Secluded Forest 2.) The Blue Owl Tiny House Experience. 3.) There are 3 non-serviced, clearly signed as RV#1, RV#2 and RV#3. These are back-in RV sites to accommodate travel trailers, fifth wheel campers, Class A, Class B, Class C RVs. All styles are welcome. 4.) Tent sites are available with parking for one vehicle. Both cabins, each RV and tent sites all have a picnic table and firepit. We have 4 traditional outhouses, a septic holding tank and a black-water tote for your convenience. Garbage and recycling receptacles are placed conveniently. We've set up a couple of challenging Scavenger Hunts along the trails. Printed checklists and pencils are in the book box located at the common games area near the stage. Berry picking Saskatoons, Cranberries, Chokecherries and Loganberries are abundant while in season. There are plenty of wildflowers and an opportunity to see wildlife in it's natural setting. There have been many deer sightings and on occasion coyotes and bears have been in the area as well. The popular tourist town of Gimli is a short drive away, where you'll find shopping, restaurants, swimming, fishing, boating, farmer's markets and festivals. Gimli Motorsports Park is close by featuring auto and motorcycle racing.

Site #1 is high 'n dry on a graveled pad, it's an easy back in so the camper door generally opens to the south. In event of rain the site is mature and well packed and wet weather poses no problems. There is a picnic table and a firepit and use of a septic tote and dump tank are nearby. Please note there is no electric or water connections. It is a completely off-grid site. (rental cabins included) Guest have full access to our hiking trails, printed Scavenger Hunt and common games area complete with a small stage and outhouse. Disconnect your camper and we're located a short 6 mile drive to the tourist town of Gimli where most services are available. There is a general store with ice, liquor, groceries and beer vendor at the Country Pub 4 miles west of our driveway in Fraserwood.

We'll escort new renters from the gated driveway to the Micro Cabin. Park right outside, easy unloading and you're set. We provide a clean mattress cover and drinking water, you bring your own bedding for a double mattress. Being off-grid there is no fridge so bring your own cooler for your food and beverages. The cabin is equipped with most of the kitchen items one would need; plates, glasses, pots, pans and a variety of utensils. The solar panels will light the cabin interior, outdoor patio lights and charge your phones. The system cannot handle hair dryers, curling irons or coffee makers but the indoor regulated propane cooktop will easily boil water and fry your bacon. There is also a gas barbeque. The gravity flow shower and sink are as warm as the days' sunshine makes it and an outhouse is close by. The owners live close by and can assist in any way we can to ensure a good experience. XXXXXX We have a second cabin, The Blue Owl Tiny House Experience, set up with similar amenities as the Micro Cabin, however slightly larger with queen size bed and optional single cot. $109 per night based on 2 night minimum stay. XXXXXX We also offer 3 non-serviced back-in R.V. sites with some shade, picnic tables and firepits at each site. There is a septic holding tank and blackwater tote for camper's free use. Bring your own water. Inverter generators are permitted. $20/night based on max 4 persons / unit. XXXXXX We have designated several partly shaded, flat grassy tent sites, a short walk from parking and outhouses. $10/night based on max 2 persons/tent.

Had a great time, there were a ton of walking paths through the woods, it was well taken care of, and there were all kinds of extras like a scavenger hunt on the trails. We stayed at the RV site and spent out last night in the Blue Owl cabin, awesome little cabin, we'll definitely be back

Our stay at the micro cabin was lovely! There were many thoughtful touches in such a small space, which made it very easy & cozy! Bob was super helpful and responsive! Would definitely recommend this space!
