A secluded tipi located in the forest on the back half of an 82 acre property. Here you will have access to your own private tipi that is 24 feet in diameter and 28 feet tall. Inside our tipi you will find a homemade queen size luxurious log bed and 2 cots as well as double pull out futon with room for 6 people. Beside the tipi there is retro fitted off grid trailer with a double sink and a compostable toilet for your privacy. There is plenty of room for your toiletries, food and any other belongings that need to be stored. A full size propane bbq and a screened in fire pit with benches to enjoy an Evening bonfire. Nestled in the privacy of a secluded forest you will find a peaceful paradise. Your stay will begin with your host picking you up in a side x side and giving you a tour of the property before arriving at the tipi to begin your relaxing getaway. Inside the tipi you will find your luxurious queen bed as well as 2 cots and a futon for your family or friends and room for your belongings. Twinkle lights and a soothing back drop will instantly put you in a relaxed stress free state of mind. Once you have settled in you can enjoy the more than 3.5 km's of walking and sight seeing trails or just sit and relax and enjoy the view. Games for the kids to play will include ladder ball, bocce ball, horse shoes, soccer, frisbee and bean bag toss or whatever the imagination brings. When supper rolls around you can enjoy cooking on a full size bbq or cook hot dogs and marshmallows on the open fire and sit back and relax at the picnic table in the shade. We also have a guided tour of the the chicken coop for the kids to pick farm fresh eggs for your breakfast. If you want to venture into town to the many different options available in town which is a 10 minute drive to the beach, sight seeing, shopping or dining we will bring you to your vehicle or you can enjoy a stroll along the trails to the parking lot.

Our camping site is situated on the back edge of 82 acres of private land with miles of walking and biking trails throughout the forest. The apex camper is great for a family of 4 with a custom queen size bed , 2 bunk beds as well as a table that folds out into a single bed. This off grid site is perfect for those who want the luxury camping without the crowds. Just show up with your bedding and food/drink and start enjoying the private glamping experience with no need to set anything up other than your lawn chair. There is an enclosed fire pit and all the wood you will need for your Wiener roasts and smores. It’s a great site to enjoy nature and if you’re lucky a glimpse of the northern lights. There are games for the kids and adult's too and if you feel like a swim or an ice cream cone the town of Gimli has all the amenities you might need to make the stay a memorable one

A Perfect Getaway in Nature

Secluded Tipi

This was by far the best camping/glamping experience we've ever had. Glen gave us such a warm welcome, even before we arrived at his property, greeting us at the entrance. He took the time to explain everything in detail and treated us to an off-road ride, showing us the stunning acres of his forested land. He also provided firewood and coffee in the morning—such a wonderful gesture. Glen is truly a wonderful host. The tipi was incredibly cozy, with all the bedding already set up for us, which made us feel right at home. We felt completely safe and at peace during our stay. One thing I’d recommend is bringing insect repellent, as there are quite a few bugs, but that’s to be expected in a nature setting. The best part is that you’ll have the entire place to yourself, which makes it feel even more special. The property has a full-sized BBQ, which was perfect for cooking, and Glen’s chicken farm added a nice touch—he kindly brought us fresh eggs for breakfast. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back with friends in the future!
