Better than advertise. The Kevin was new and clean. The wood stove kept us very warm and toasty. The firepit was well stocked with cedar cut offs . Hot pool was extremely relaxing and had a great vibe. We added a canoe to our trip and fished Gardom Lake. Excellent experience, we'll be back !

We really enjoyed Darcy’s cabin. It was simple, quaint and so peaceful. The outdoor shower was awesome and the pit toilet was clean and not smelly. The supplied propane fire ring made the atmosphere cozy as there was a fire ban. The views were lovely. As Aussies, we’d remind other campers that cutlery and glassware is not supplied- but this did not take away from our experience at all!

From the moment we arrived, we knew Salmon Arm Camping Resort was something special. This isn't just a place to park your RV or pitch a tent; it's a family-run gem that feels like a true home away from home. They greeted us with a smile and were incredibly accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and memorable stay. The resort itself is a perfect blend of peaceful nature and fun amenities. Our site was spacious and private, nestled among beautiful, tall trees, providing a serene escape after a day of adventure. The facilities are top-notch and impeccably clean, from the well-maintained washrooms to the sparkling pool. The kids were entertained for hours with the mini-golf, playground, and pickleball court, while we enjoyed relaxing by the campfire at our site. The on-site store is a lifesaver, offering a fantastic selection of ice cream and other treats. What we love most is the fantastic location. It feels secluded and tranquil, yet it's just a short drive to the beautiful Shuswap Lake and the town of Salmon Arm, with its charming downtown, great restaurants, and access to a wealth of outdoor activities. We spent our days exploring local hiking trails and relaxing at the beach, knowing we had a cozy and welcoming campsite to return to. Weekend Trip to Back Forty Vineyards

This is a special spot! So peaceful, and the perfect getaway. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, amazing coffee and a nice tea selection, and the snacks were such a treat!! The bed was quite comfortable, and we thoroughly appreciated the variety of pillows as we’ve got different firmness preferences. Early morning walks with the pup around the property while the sun rose was bliss :) We cannot wait to return!

We loved our stay! The site was quiet, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Everything matched the photos, and the hosts really thought of all the little details. The AC worked perfectly, and they kindly provided a gas firebowl since there was a fire ban in effect. Just note that the hot tub won’t be available during fire bans, as it’s connected to the way it’s heated. The outdoor shower was a highlight, it made the experience even more unique. One important tip: follow the driving directions exactly as provided, otherwise it’s very easy to get lost. Overall, a wonderful spot that we’d happily return to!

Cozy place to sleep, beautiful view, and nice warm shower a bit of a walk away. Some shade around the picnic table from the morning sun would be a nice addition

Weekend Trip to The Great Goat Escape

Everything was amazing! We loved the owners, goats and dogs. They brought us food to fed the goats which was a great time. Highly recommend!!! We will be back!!!

Weekend Trip to Charming Creekside Caravan

My wife, 12 year old son and I stayed at Creekside Caravan for a night on our way between Vancouver and the Kootenays. It was absolutely wonderful and would definitely recommend staying here. Mike was an awesome host, communication wise responsive and very easy to work with. Upon our arrival Mike greeted us, showed us around, made sure we had everything and then left us to our own. The caravan is very nicely designed and super comfy. You could tell how much thought and effort went into all the little details that make it so warm and inviting. We had everything we needed to cook some eggs, make coffee, etc. We had a chance to enjoy the fire pit, feed some chickens and slept amazing with the running water of the creek nearby. While we were there we thought to ourselves we could have just planned our whole vacation here and not just a one night stop ;) There is always next time!
