We had a great one-night stay in early May. The place was not crowded- and we felt privileged to be on a working farm. One pro-tip: put the address in to your GPS - don’t rely on the coordinates that are passed through to google maps. These will get you close as the crow flies- but on private property, and 10 minutes away from where you want to be.

Weekend Trip to Back Forty Vineyards

I loved tent camping on Daryn's vineyard. The views were nice and the directions were clear. It was a great spot to stay and enjoy the camping experience as well as explore wineries and cideries. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends!

Even though Grandview acres wasn’t technically open yet, both houses were extremely hospitable and welcoming to us when we stayed for one night in our self-contained RV. Both House came out to speak to us and we were incredibly lovely, we were very honoured to be the 1st to sign the 2025 guest book. Stunning views, incredibly peaceful, and can see why people would want to come back again and again.

Come camp on a 40-acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake! There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from. Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know! Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. Peachland is within easy reach of over 200 estate wineries and microbreweries.

Village Hub Farm Campground Located in the north Okanagan 5 minutes from Armstrong and 15 minutes from Vernon. We recently bought this charmingly rustic old farm property and are in the exciting process of bringing it back to life. Our address is 1945 Otter Lake Cross Road, Armstrong. It has a lovely forest area, alongside sprawling fields that are dotted with beautiful wildflowers throughout Spring and Summer. Another delightful feature of our home is a swamp that displays a spectacular array of bird wildlife in the spring and early summer. A bird watcher’s dream! And, if you are lucky, you may even see deer, beaver, bear, coyote, Marmot, or Western Painted Turtle roaming the property, all have been seen on the farm at one time or another, so keep your eyes peeled! We are close to amenities but are far enough out of town to provide a quiet and restful retreat from the hum and drum of every day life. We are popular for family reunions and specialty gatherings such as card or game tournaments. Summer in the Okanagan. Come and enjoy the scenery, fresh peaches, cherries, watermelons, veggies and other locally grown delights when in season. Our campground features include: Four forested sites with fire pits and picnic tables. Fires not permitted during fire bans.
