We did end up booking a tour with them of their place which was truly spectacular and original. Me and my parter have already discussed when we will return next. Susan was an excellent host. When we first showed up we were a little lost and she guided us right to our campsite. We were camping on Thanksgiving and she invited us into her home and gave us a slice of homemade pumpkin pie (it was amazing). We left in a hurry but we would definitely go back again.

Maple Cabin was comfy and all I say about the Earthship is, “Wow”!! Completely off the grid, it's a unique and wonderful building. Thank you Tony and Susan for showing us around your amazing creation and well done. Bravo!!

Weekend Trip to Field Sites & Secluded Tent Sites

We loved tent camping on Paul's property, we drove around and looked at every site and ended up picking site 8 for it's privacy and cute little pond area, though we would have been ecstatic with any of the sites as they were all private and tidy. Boyd and Ace (resident campers we ran into) were also very kind and Ace was fun to pet! (He's a dog haha) the ocean was walking distance away which was also very nice. Paul even offered to deliver firewood to us and build us a cozy campfire! Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a secluded, private, clean place to camp. We'll definitely be back next year!

Such as great spot! We had very much space to park thé RV. Accualy we did not hear a thing, just thé sound of nature. The house of Lisa was about 400 meters away and everthing was taken Care for: water and electricity.

This was a really great spot that I enjoyed with my dogs for two nights. I found it very private and peaceful and Lisa was a great host. Highly recommended and I look forwad to coming back!

After this pic was taken, we added a 10x10 canopy (with walls), for sleeping, or getting some shade. Also, there is additional covered kitchen space. Space for all your sporting equipment, and if you want to bring 2 more people, you can pitch your tent on the deck. Let me know about additional occupants thanks!

7 nights at The Glamping Beachcomber

We loved the open-air experience of our glamping tent, located near a beautiful stretch of beach near Oyster River. We walked our dog along the community trail every morning, and we spent many evenings on the beach. The tent ambiance is cozy, with a cushy bed, armchairs, and even braided rugs on the floor. The "kitchen" is very basic but supplied all we needed.

Danielle has thought of every detail that made our glamping vacation easy, comfortable and full of memories! Highlights were: coffee on the patio, feeding the chickens, picking blackberries and taking our dog for walks on the property. Our hosts were so friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Great host! Paul really cares for his property and set up a bunch of lovely, private, level, spaced out options(watch for slugs in the grass if you venture out on warm summer nights.) Came back for a second night knowing that finding something else in a busy holiday weekend was like playing chicken:) neighboring campers were all quiet and friendly and Paul was accessible if we needed anything. Nice touches like signage and clearly marked spot, clean potty, water. Thanks for giving us a nice spot on our journey! Probably one of the best most welcoming hip camps we have ever stayed in!!!! Would definitely recommend a stay here. Close to fun mountain biking and beach resort and lake options too. Thanks!
