Short walks to a semi-private Hague Lake sandy beach, the beautiful Kw’as Park entrance, and Hank’s Beach ocean trails. A very peaceful and relaxing space. Enjoy hikes in the woods, swimming in either fresh or salt water, bike rides, or walks to the local café/natural food store, and return to a four-person hot tub on a wraparound deck. An eight-foot yurt sleeps one. Note: Absolutely no smoking on the property. The Space If your group is larger than can be accommodated at Kw’as Bay Home, consider also renting Kw’as Bay Cottage, located on the same 3-acre property. Contact us directly to discuss combined rates. We will have a large tent set up on the spacious deck with extra single mattresses if needed. Guest Access Note: The wood stove is not available during the summer months. Other Things to Note There is a shared parking area with the cottage and studio building. The buildings are relatively close together, but there is good privacy at the house, as the deck and outdoor areas are quite secluded. A canoe is shared between the cottage and house on a first-come, first-served basis. If asked while using the semi-private beach, please say you are staying at Edward and Kira’s house. The property should be quiet and peaceful during your stay. If, for any reason, this does not feel true, contact Kira or Edward (call/text: [PHONE NUMBER]) and it will be addressed promptly. We do live in the house, so it has not been emptied of its contents. Please enjoy our space—we are very happy to share it with you.

Experience living in a magical forest that gives you lots of privacy. At night, flick a switch and you are in the middle of the Enchanted Christmas Forest. During the day, take a short stroll through the woods and down a gentle 300 foot long ramp to a secluded beach where you can watch the eagles soar and the whales breach. The cabin is very basic. Think wilderness camping with some perks like a flush toilet, hot shower, and power. There are two IKEA double beds which sleep two people comfortably or four people cozily. In addition to the sleeping cabin, there are three outdoor structures providing you protection from the rain. The cooking station, the clean up station, and new for 2026, an outdoor covered living room. While there is no TV, there is a small fridge, propane stove, and propane fire pit. Cooking supplies include pots, frying pan, and dishes. For those wanting to connect to the outside world, there is good cellphone reception but no wifi.

We are located right at the Earl's Cove Ferry Terminal, tucked into a beautiful wooded area. We're just a 1-minute walk from The Cove Restaurant and the Earls Cove–Saltery Bay ferry. Less than a 5-minute drive from stunning Ruby Lake and about a 10-minute drive from Egmont, the Backeddy Pub, and Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park, the property is ideally situated for exploring the area. This getaway is perfectly located for anyone looking for a short pit stop on the way up the coast or a leisurely stay to explore the stunning surroundings. The property offers a few options for overnight guests: • A tent pad (camping gear can be provided by the hosts if needed), with access to a shared kitchen and, starting in June, an outhouse and outdoor shower to be shared with guests staying in the pavilion. • A cozy pavilion with power and heat, shared access to a washroom and outdoor shower, and its own small fridge, hot plate, and BBQ. • A bedroom in the main cabin for up to two guests, with shared access to a bathroom in the cabin. All guests are welcome to use the common kitchen, located at the top of the property. Guests are also welcome to use the two kayaks and two paddleboards provided by the owners. There are plenty of scenic trails, hidden bays, and beautiful viewpoints to explore nearby, as well as throughout the Sunshine Coast. Madeira Park and Pender Harbour are both only about 20 minutes away by car. Please note: A small ferry terminal is nearby, which adds a bit of local coastal activity during the day.
