Nice open clearing over looking a wetland. It's a short walk away from the small parking spot on the road. Walk across across a pedestrian bridge over a creek and into the open sky area fringing the wilderness. It gets a lot of sun in the evenings and is home to lots of wildlife. There is room for 3 or4 tents in the area. There is a compost toilet outhouse. Its' a short walk to the dock and ocean and right by the newton lake trail head. This spot is great for sun and star bathing and cooling off in the creek. It's a salmon bearing creek, every October they swim up it to spawn. It's a pretty special place far away from civilization. There is no cell service, or electricity and creek water should be treated before drinking.Over looking a wetland and backed by the wilderness. this multi tent site is ideal for small groups camping together. it is accessed from a small parking spot on the side of the road. you have to walk across a pedestrian bridge to get to this site. it is a short walk to newton lake trail head and the boat launch/ dock in kanish bay. there is a small deck to hang out on and a nice clearing to frolic in. lots of water around in the small creek and surrounding lakes and ocean and much to see in a kayak nearby. would be a good base camp for sea a kayaking or fishing trip
