Our camp sites are only available during October for the Bathurst 1000, at this time. 3 Veg Farm is a small organic urban market garden on the edge of Bathurst. Established in late 2020, with over 1000 native species planted it is slowly emerging as an eco sanctuary. More than 50 different cold climate seasonal vegetables and flowers are grown on 3 acres and sold at the Bathurst Farmers' Markets, as well as from the farm gate shop and box deliveries around town. You can preorder a box of veges for your dinner. Watch the daily goings on of planting and harvesting, or get involved and learn all about permaculture - workshops and/or volunteering available. (Please note that this is an urban farm beside the train line on the edge of town, not a wilderness, so some industrial noises and trains can sometimes be heard around the clock.) 'La Paloma' is a farm located 15 minutes from the township of Cowra and Wyangala Dam. La Paloma boasts spectacular views down the valley and of surrounding granite hills. We can even provide under cover boat storage if you want to bring your boat with you for some fun on the lake! In spring, enjoy the beautiful blossoming fruit trees. You can even visit Sakura Matsuri, the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival in Cowra late September! Year round, enjoy the tranquillity and landscapes of the Japanese Gardens and Cultural Centre in Cowra (14 min). The gardens act as a monument of peace and reconciliation between two countries after the largest Prisoner Of War breakout in modern military history. Cowra's rich history can be explored at the Cowra POW Campsite and various other historical sites around town. Make sure to end your night around a great campfire! You can have campfires in your own contained fire pits and sometimes we have complimentary firewood in a wood shed close by. Roast some marshmallows and take in the starry night sky. Property has a gorgeous stand-alone bathroom building with 2 toilets, a hot water shower and sink. Please keep this clean and tidy. There are cleaning products under the sink as we cannot always be there to keep it clean. There is also an undercover table and basic camp kitchen set up for use in the shearing shed. Please take all rubbish with you. Pick a camp site in the middle aisle around the sheds, bathroom block and driveway OR in any open paddock (granite pad sites on hill are their own sites). Note the ground off the driveway and parking pads can get very wet and boggy so to avoid getting bogged please try to stick to the driveway as much as possible.

If the weather is a touch damp - which it is inclined to be in winter in Orange - we can offer you the shelter of our very large hay shed. It will easily fit a caravan and vehicle with room to spare. After a busy day of visiting the vineyards of Orange you are able to relax around the campfire, whether you're camped under the hay shed or not, and take in the serenity. If you wish, you can accompany us on a cattle experience with both our herefords and highlands, feeding and grooming them (weekends only). You are welcome to try your luck in our dam if you have your own fishing gear. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property, as do our neighbours, so please keep them under control. Unfortunately we don't have any toilets or amenities at this point so you will need to be fully self contained and take your waste away.

Rosnay is a pioneering organic farm in the Central West. The Statham family moved to Rosnay in 1996 and began renovating the run down farm using organic and biodynamic methods. They planted the first vines in 1997, and olives in 1999, as well as thousands of native trees, all planted and grown without any chemicals. The exclusive camping area is on the banks of a old farm dam in the middle of the olive grove. There are sheep and alpacas, and plenty of birds and kangaroos living there too. For those who prefer not to sleep out in the elements, we also offer a lovely farmstay guest house by direct booking. My site was away from ammenities and dump point, and noticed there were a lot of free camps closer to these points. Camp was quiet and when full, would be very crowded and difficult to manoevure large vehicles into allotted spots. Friendly staff and well maintained from what I could see driving to find the dump point.

We have really enjoyed our two nights stay here. Even though it's a residential area you wouldn't even know. It feels like you're on a peaceful farm but only 8km from Bathurst. Kurt and Megan have been so helpful and very responsive to messages. Megan and her son even came to introduce themselves and say hi which was nice ❤️they also have a handful of goats which the kids loved and we could even feed them our scraps. Highly recommend staying here if you want to explore Bathurst and the surrounds!!!

What a great little flat spot to park up just out of Bathurst. We felt super safe here after reading reviews of other places in town. Kurt met us as we drove in and was really helpful. Highly recommend.

What a great spot to have as a base while exploring the Bathurst area!! This really is everything we look for when travelling when all you need is a safe location to leave the van while you go adventuring and seeing the local sites. Access to site is easy and the sites are level and maintained nicely. Definitely will be back when we are in the area for the numerous events Bathurst has on throughout the year. Well done!!!!

Weekend Trip to REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN CAMPS

We absolutely loved our stay at Tree of Heaven mountain camp. The views were absolutely stunning and the area so beautiful to just sit back, relax and enjoy a few splendid days camping. We would absolutely come back in a heartbeat and can’t wait to try the other sites! Thank you so much to Graeme for his incredible hospitality and the stunning sites he has created for us to enjoy.

Weekend Trip to REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN CAMPS

The best Hipcamp we been to! Tree of Heaven overlooking the valley and we had a breathtaking views throughout our stay. We had fun driving up and down the site. Will definitely camp here again if we come to the area in the future.
